Don't worry about it, just ignore (in game or out) stupid people.

We should all stop starting threads about Multi-boxing on the offical forums. All it does is invite the haters and trolls to flame us. There's enough of those threads started by them as it is.

First a question, on the link you say:
"boxing teams have a big problem when you constantly run in their back, since they're following the main, he will turn, his slaves however will still look the wrong way unles you got a key mapped for them to auto focus the masters focus (and allot of boxers don't)"
Does that mean it's possible for the slaves to "automaticly" turn and face the target when you press a key?

    Back on topic.

The "funny" thing is that the people hating multiboxing is always people that haven't tried it.

I'm not big on multiboxing (yet?), I just goofed around with keyclone, my regular account and a couple of trial accounts and it's like playing with really, really retarded friends. After setting up some macros it started running slightly better, but it was still complicated and annoying.

I'm sure it gets easier with training, but no matter how clever your setup is and how well trained you are, it will always be harder than controlling just one char and it will always be less powerful than a group of players. Anyone that have tried multiboxing knows this for a fact.

Which brings me to another fact, the people complaining about multiboxers having an unfair advantage can't possible have tried multiboxing ever. If they had ever tried it, they would know the advantage just isn't there..

So every whine thread about multiboxing devides people into two camps, the ones that have tried multiboxing and know by first hand experience that it isn't overpowered and unfair, and the ones that have never tried multiboxing but still "know for a fact" that multiboxing is overpowered and unfair and that multiboxers are evil people trying to "deny the truth!!!"

Conclussion: Never debate with them. Make a guide that shows step by step how they can do a free 3 box setup with their regular wow account and 2 free trial accounts, split the screen with wowmaximizer and use keyclone or a free alternative to try multiboxing out for themselves. When someone whines about multiboxing, just link to the guide and say "Try multiboxing out, if you follow the guide it's totally free, no extra hardware needed and no expensive software. Let me know how you feel after multiboxing for a couple of hours". Some people will try it out, learn how hard it is and never complain again. Others will refuse to try it and choose to stay without any clue on the subject. Do you want to waste your time on people that choose to remain clueless? Never debate with them.

People who are unable or unwilling to understand things will always just hate them instead. Because that is much easier than actually looking at an issue objectively or even experiencing it yourself. A multiboxer is doing something that they either cannot do, or do not want to do, or are afraid to attempt, and that bothers them. I am sure that a few of them are cash-constrained, but they are VERY few (how many poor people, who are so tight on cash that another $15 a month would be a strain, are paying a monthly subscription for WoW? Yeah, thought so). Most are limited by other factors. Mommy won't buy junior another subscription, and she'd probably ground him just for asking. Wifey/Girlfriend isn't about to let you do something silly like buy more accounts, you're lucky she lets you play as it is! Or what happens to most of them-- they actually believe that it's way too hard and they are afraid to try it, but they'll never admit that. So they insist that they aren't doing it because they're better than you somehow.

I know a lot of them are reading this forum, and I'm hoping they recognize themselves in one of the above examples. It should really get them nice and pissed off in time for their next forum rant.

I think that your buddy with his buttons A and B is missing and what is also absent as counter argument is the total power available per BG-team.
Button A was the 5xFireball from one mage, Button B was 1xFireball from five mages.

Take a WSG, 10 people each. Make them mages. Team A has one guy with hack A. Team B has a multiboxer with five mages.
Team A has 14 simultaneous fireballs and the firepower of 14 mages.
Team B has 10 simultaneous fireballs and the firepower of 10 mages.

The hypothetical hack alters the power balance in between teams, the multiboxer does not.
