    Default Spread Out Question

Ok, Been poking around a bit and can't quite figure this one out:

So, I want a way of spreading my toons out a bit - probably something like this:

    L
S (all in a bunch from following)

    one keypress

    .L
    SSS
    .S

(Ignore the '.'s, couldn't get spaces to work for some reason)

Now, I figured that I would bind one key to strafe left, one to strafe right, one to back up on the slaves, and leave last slave and leader with nothing.

    2 Questions though:

    1) Can you bind keys any other way than via options->key bindings? The reason I ask is that in there I can only bind 2 keys for each movement - And for some of the above commands I already have 2 binds

    2) I suppose that I need to press my key of choice a few times to actually get some distance, or is there a trick to make them move a bit further?

Easiest way that I found to do this is bind ONE key as follows:

    Leader: Nothing

    Slave 1: Strafe right

    Slave 2: Nothing

    Slave 3: Strafe Left

    Slave 4: Move backward

I have the RIGHT ARROW key bound on the 4 slaves. Holding the key down longer increases the left/right/backwards distance.

Works like a charm so far.

Bongos 3 lets you bind keys beyond the regular interface bindings. It's really easy too, just click the option to start binding and hover your mouse over the action bar while you press the key you want binded. I hope that's what you meant by your first question.

For your second question, just hold the button down until they are as far as you like. Is your keyboard keystroke repeat rate set low or something?
