I dont find rogues a problem in the slightest, they only tickle me these days. They used to wtfpwn me quickly but now its a case of "oh, a rogue is beating on me...who else is around to kill (kill a few others)...oh i suppose i better get this noob off me, LB LB LB LB Flame Shock, oh hes running away on no health" yawn, continue killing people.

I find the main benefit in gearing up (from blue to purple S2, from S2 to S4, etc) is that your armor value keeps increasing, which means rogues/warriors hurt less and less. Also increased resilience helps. Stunlock on 1 of your guys always hurts your burst damage potential... but if you can outlast the stunlock you can squeeze in some 4x lb/cl/shock or whatever. Just keep in mind they can typically only stun you for 50-60% of the time, and that's when they are really trying. Make that other 40% of the time count =P. Also if you scare them off with focus fire they won't be stunning you at all ^_^.

Cheat death, cloak of shadows, evasion, sprint, vanish.. the fuckers just won't die.

Evasion doesn't do diddly against ele shamans. In arena, rogues are always my last targets, unless I force their healers off.

I generally keep up magmas, 4x poison cleansing, flame shock to stop the vanish, once they burn cloak, start going to town with LBs. Once you hear CD proc, toss flame shocks. The inital damage will get the 90% damage coefficient reduciton, but once that 3 second buff wears off, 4x flame shocks tick for a decent amount of damage, and they can sprint whereever they want to to get a heal, but die before they get there.
