Dual Boxing Newbie Question about Octopus

i installed octopus and set some profiles up, went through the set up guide. im using one PC and just trying to run two accounts at 1 time. Im having trouble getting keys to work for both accounts though. I tried adding like the 1-9 keys and tried to set them up to recieve key broadcasts but i can not get the keys to work with each other. Im pretty much a noob so i dont really know where to start here.

did you read any of the Octopus guides? Good place to start, check the Wiki.

i read a couple that was here but nothing really explained to me how to do it, seemed like it was implied.
