party composition for end game PVE: 1VW/2VW any use in heroics?

Hi,

I've gone from 3 boxing to 5 boxing and I'd like to build something which can handle at least some heroic instances in the end.

Hopefully someone has done this before and can point me in the right direction

I'm currently Level 21/22: 1xPriest, 1xLock, 2xMage

and alternating between an additional Lock and Mage. The second lock ends up bolting like a mage, and healing is simpler with a single VW, and I'm thinking with the mage synergy I'd be better off with the mage if that's the role, but of course, the end game is nothing like the beginning. Obviously I have no "tank". I know that a tank would make life easier but that's not really what I'm looking to do. I don't really want 5xshamans either. Just personal preference. On the other hand, I don't want heroics to be impossible.

So....

Is a 1 lock build with voidwalker tank / 3 sheep viable for some heroics?

Is 2 locks, 2 VW and 2 sheep more or less viable?

I'm thinking that with 2 VW and pulling every 2 mins I can have an initial suffering after the initial pull, and then the second suffering when the sheep expires .... does anyone have heroic experience with this please?

I have played a 2mage 2lock 1 priest team last year and it was not possible for the blueberries to tank heroics. Pick up a tank or go the 4-5shaman route with earth eles. If your main interes lies in pve: pick up a real tank (preferably a paladin).

no pet tanks for herocis... besides sacrificing earth elementals

get a pala or a druid in there and another lock

for 5 men packs, just aim for killing two, if you wipe that pack will only be 3 man the next time
