PiP changing to slow..

Hey

When using the PiP system and changing my screen from my scondary screen it takes about 5 to 7 sek. aprox.
that is a real long time when my main dies and i have to use my other toons to play before they die also

im using keyclone with maximizer, and on the long run i think it will be a pretty annoying to problem, it work
but its just to slow and ideas ??

These days mine usually swap in a second or 2,
I'm running Ultimate Vista x64 without the aero crap to avoid crashing videocard drivers.

When I was still running on the aero theme it was a lot slower aswell,
What also slows it down is visiting a few busy zones, the effect stays, even after zoning into an instance or such.
And when I play for an entire day (my usual sunday) It gets slower after a few hours.

I started to exit the game every few hours and restart all my wow installs,
especially when i'm editing my ui, I've had enough crashes while editing them and every time I lost half my progress.

Have gotten a few crashes to actually while fixing addons... have alot of addons on my main and only X-perl frames on my toons running 14 mb. on each client and 40 mb om my main.

But yes, the change is faster when u have reset the game after a few hours.

it also depends on how you set up your maximizer.

make sure the game resolution (the number under the PiP hotkey) is the same on all of the regions (i usually set them to the region size of my main area)

also, make sure each region has the same aspect ratio as the main region

afaik, the slow down comes from wow rendering surfaces as it resizes the window

Yea... my toons are running on small windows on my secondary screen and it takes time scaling them when changing pictures, but i found out that if i dont play on my
main and instead use my toon in BG (normally they kill what the toons follow ) and then change to my main, the picture change is almost instant. :huh:
