I'm new the forums but started 5-boxing last summer. I had a War/Pri/Sha/Sha/Mag combo working really well until I lost momentum and finally gave up at LV53 (was running BRD at the time). I just started a new party last week and it's working out great so far:

5 laptops each with keyboard/mouse, 19" monitors, no other hardware. I still use Multibox software (started using it last year and it still does the job very well for me)
Right now I'm playing a Pally/Priest/Mage/Shaman/Druid combo. I wanted to maximize my buffs, as well as utilize as much loot as I possibly could. Started these guys last week, ran Deadmines at 16/17, downed VC at 18, and currently 20/21 after 3 runs. Moving onto BFD next. I'll probably mostly instance grind, which should be a little quicker to 60 than it was before the 2.3 patch.
