    Default New boxer!

Hi, i'm new to multiboxing, i wanted to start a 5 men team for PVE.
What i had in mind is 1 Prot warrior, 1 priest and 3 affli locks, but i don't know how well can this team perform, so i came here asking for advice

PD: Sory for my bad english, it's not my native language.

    Welcome!!

My setup is similar prot pally, priest, mage, and lock (working on leveling a 2nd mage to make 5). Its a good setup for dungeons and instances. I am also finding its not to bad for pvp. Were I in your shoes I would consider 3 mages instead of 3 locks. What I have found is its all about the quick kill. Mages just have better burst damage than locks(imho). 3x firebolts or 3x arcane explosions just rocks.

p.s. I do read the Wheel of Time

We've had a few groups of warlocks and some number of healers/tanks around. Sounds like a good mix. Do some searches and you should find what you're after. Note that the built-in search function tends to suck. In lieu of that, try this:

Go to google and search for "site:dual-boxing.com <searchword> <searchword2> <etc.>"

That should get you much better results.

    And welcome aboard!

That should work fine. Any tank/healer/dps should work. Don't get discouraged, things get better as you learn more. There is a lot to learn at the start. I would just start off small and work your way up. Simple useful commands/macros/keys. Then add more as you need them or find them out.
I use HotKeyNet for my broadcasting. I focus my main and use 2 simple macros to start:
    /cast [target=focus-target] DPSSpell
    /cast [target=focus-target-target] HealSpell

    Good luck and have fun.

    Welcome!

If I could make one suggestion about your team. It would be replace the Prot Warrior with a Pally. Why? Well as you may already know (or perhaps not) a Prot warrior is wow on hard mode, you invest a lot of time spamming things to maintain agro. There for you have to wait on your agro levels before you can DPS.

A pally on the other hand upfront gets a load of threat, which enables you to DPS right away. Not other that but it's much more easyier to play. This allows you to focus more on your other charicters. On top of that the buffs would really help control the rest of your party hate and mana regen and such.

Priest is a solid choice, but if got a free do over I'd pick a shaman healer myself. Earth shield on a tank is very nice, chain heal extremely nice for locks using Life tap, you can top off the locks while healing the tank with a chain heal. Add the pally Wisdom and the mana stream totems and you have some pretty damn nice regen. Don’t forget about the holy damage bonus totem to help you tank.

I hope you enjoy your new journey
