Dual Boxing Help :)

Hey i very revently (yesterday) started leveling 2 Troll shammys and the 1 main question i have is how do i level

Im finding i have to keep switching between chars to loot Quest items ect is thre a way around this

Lol i know that i meen is there a way around doing the quests where u have to pickup stuff ect

Try setting free for all loot. Then just loot on your main, and when you see a quest item, have your alt loot it. So your main gets quest items last, that way you make sure your alts all get items they need. Quests are VERY good exp and money, but try to shy away from collection quests, since the effect you already noticed. You should probably do them until like 6-10, but if you really don't want to, go to a new starting area. So you can do easy quests in the area you are in, and then go to the other starting areas and do their easy quests.

Yes, you can skip the pickup quests. There is nothing saying that you have to do all the quests. If looting is a problem, switch it to free for all and just have your main loot.

Guess that depends. I dont even think you start getting Group XP till you have a 3 person team.

2 characters = faster quest xp.
2 characters = slower grind unless the spawn is fast. Remember, you get only 1/2 xp when 2 grouped.

Yeah, but 1/2 times 2. If you level one char it takes 10,000 exp (just a made up number), but if you level two, it takes 10,000 exp times two. So:
level 1 char alone | level 2 chars together
each char gets 10,000 | each char gets 5,000
but you have to do it twice | you have to do other quests to get the rest

With dual boxing you should be able to do some of the collections quests. Three boxing and doing collect is pushing it, but 4 or more i would skip. If you can try to get 1 more account because with 3 or more toons you get a grouping bonus. Dual boxing will take more time then solo, but you are doing 2 at once not 1. So lets say that solo will take 4 days per toon, dual will take you 6 days for both. The other good thing with dual is that you kill faster and kill harder mobs. The other thing that you can do is play with rest xp. Create another team play them for 3 days and then play the other for 3 days, this way when you switch teams you get 9 bars of double xp (you get 3 bars in a 24 hour period).

A lot of questions a I had were answered in this thread, I just wanted to say thanks to those who answered them

I've gotten to level 10 dual-boxing two casters, but I can see now that perhaps my simple dual boxing might not be as successful as I had hoped... specifically that three boxing is better than two in terms of speed... I was hoping I would level faster hmmm....

I guess it might be better to wait until I get that new job and can pull off a four box Lucky for me I have yet to play a casters so when that time comes I wont have to worry about melee/caster mix xD
