I was talking to my husband and I may or may not have to give up my new mages I made, ( yes I am crying). I was just curious how do other multiboxers afford this hobby ?

I am trying to find ways to pay for this hobby i have taken up. Any suggestions ?
I make enough to support my hobbies and then some. Obviously, not everyone is gonna fit into that mould. A few obvious things you can do are cooking meals from scratch with inexpensive ingredients (i.e.: NOT all that "organic" high-priced stuff), curtailing things like extra minutes on your phone plans/long distance bills, cutting your cable TV down to minimums or off, redoing your health/dental insurance with a less expensive plan, cutting your lawn watering back to minimums (depending on your region's climate), selling your new car and buying a good used car that you can afford outright, garage sales/ebay for that old junk you don't need any more, find some of those work-from-home jobs that'll make you a few bucks, etc.
Lots of ways to do it, some of those above I'm sure you're already doing.

Donate plasma? In college ('93-'94) I donated plasma for beer money, 25$ for a 1 hour session once a week paid for all the beer I could drink.
What he said. If you can't leave the house to make money, then you'll either have to either produce and sell goods from home or reduce expenses. If you can get out for one night a week, there are reps for companies that hold "shopping parties," like the Party Lite candles or Pampered Chef cookware. Usually you choose when you work, and you only make money when you work since it's nearly all commission-based. Something like this is perfect for stay-at-home moms, especially if they've got a decent social network of friends to help host these parties. There are also entire businesses of people who make goods at home just to sell on eBay.. so if you have an arts & crafts talent, you can try that.Originally Posted by 'Ughmahedhurtz',index.php?page=Thread&postID=88988 #post88988
The easiest way to raise an extra $60/mo without leaving the house is to cut out some expenses. Some people in tight situations blow a ton of money on alcohol and cigarettes. It always costs more to eat out, even fast food, than to make an inexpensive meal at home. Consolidate driving to performing all errands in one trip on the way home from work to save gas. Downgrade the car to a less expensive model with better gas mileage and lower insurance rates. Don't buy anything that isn't needed...

Definitely going to 4-box Diablo 3 after testing the beta for how well this would work.
Wow! Lots of great ideas here. I am definitely going to look into all of them. I know this month we had a few expenses that we didnt expect, but I guess I should have thought about that before I started Multi-boxing.
I am definitely not giving it up, if i can help it, I really love doing it. I am having a blast and meeting all kinds of really cool and interesting people like you all.
Creepy? Plasma donations saves lives... done anything to save a life lately? I donated every week or every other for several years, even after an hour of my time earned far more than 25$. Its not exactly a walk in the park either - which is why they pay you - it hurts a bit, the needles they put in both your arms are huge and can leave needle tracks that make you look like you've been shooting heroin or can scar you up. Thankfully I have tough skin and excellent healing factor so no long lasting marks. Also they pull out something like .7-.9L of fluid depending on your weight. So you are basically dehydrated once its done and need to drink a lot of fluids both before and after, unless you like having all the fun of a hangover without the fun of getting drunk.Originally Posted by 'Fursphere',index.php?page=Thread&postID=88995#pos t88995
