Thread: Leveling.

    Default Leveling.

I have been upgrading my machine so that i am able to run 3 WoW's at one time. Now is the hard part. I use octopus right now and i am setting it up. But my main question is looting/which way is fastest to level. Did most of you grind your way through instances or did you guys quest. And if so, how did you do the looting quests with 5 shaman? Is there some sort of looting macro that i am unaware of?

    Any help would be awsome.

    I believe looting is manual.

Personally I will try and level as much as possible using instances as I find it more fun (doubtful if it's faster though)
5 boxing on Chamber of Aspects, EU (Horde) and Soon on Classic.

I did a mix of questing and instances. The biggest problem with questing at low level is that the rewards are only barely enough to pay for skills, water and repairs. Instances inbetween filled the money problem. So:

    - From level 10 to 16 I did quests.
    - From level 16 to 24 I did mixed questing/instances
    - From level 24 to 30 I mostly did instances
    - From level 30 to 35 I mostly did quests
    - From level 35 to 40 I mostly did instances (Scarlet Monastery)
    - From 40/45 to 60 I mostly did quests (decent rewars)
    - From 60+ I mostly did quests with some instances inbetween to fill the XP gaps
(please note that the levels mentioned above are estimates)

Also, when you arrive at the outlands it's usually worth to do the gathering quests too because of the rewards and/or the followup quest rewards. (and the xp of course)

Looting is indeed manual. I loot with my main (which has the gathering professions(mining and skinning). My alts all have 4x 16 slot bags, so I divide different types of items to different characters. One is enchanter so he gets a lot of greens/blues to disenchant. Another is for grey stuff and the last one is for all cloth that I gather (because you gather A LOT of it, easily 100+ in a single instance run).

    Same as above for looting.

I set free for all looting on and ninja on my main and using the "ONE" macro I can open trade windows and close them without swapping clients.

I am still a lowbie so I just share out the random junk between characters.

When it comes to looting bosses I still keep FFA on as there is a prompt asking you if you are sure you want this item. I inspect what it is, then inspect my team and pick one that needs it and then manually control him to loot it.

As for levelling, I just do what I want off the spur, from 23 all the way upto 40 I think I will instance grind, BFD -> RFK -> SM
    4 x shaman - 1 x pala - Level 60.5
    4 x druid - Level 32 - 1 x Warrior - Level 39
Reppin' <Five Times More Gold> - EU Jaendar PVP

For lvl'ing i find its imo best to instance grind alot, mainly because i dont wanna do collection Q and because i want to save all
my Q's for when im to high or low do do a certain instance

FX: im only boxing 4 chars, at 44 i could do ZF alone with my chars, ive grinded ZF alot and im now lvl 50 with all my chars/toons. next
step for me is to do Sunken temple grinding, but i figure im first able to solo it at lvl 52-53'ish so here all my saved Q's come in
[color=#ff0000]Quad boxing 4 shammys - Mallene - Mallino - Mallina - Malline (and yes, all acc's are my own!!)
Server: Boulderfist ------- Progress: All lvl 70!!! > In 10 Days, 4 Hours ^^ > Gear Grinding has begun.
