    Default New multiboxer - 5x Shaman <3

I'm finally getting around to posting here, after having this site on my daily bookmarks to check (and often lose hours while reading).

I'm a long time dual-boxer, from pretty much day 1 in WoW...my guildmates used to give me such grief about my level 60 (or 70) epiced out priest following around my lowbie characters as an ungrouped healbot. In those days, I had a laptop sitting to my left, and would have to reach over every time I wanted to heal myself. Oh the joy of Keyclone!! Cheap WoW "battlechests" made me dive in...I just couldn't resist.

After testing out the waters with a 5 box team that I thought would be fun (Pally tank, priest healer, 2x shammy, mage), I realized how much micromanagement I had in store by the time they hit 25. After letting my 3 accounts lapse after the free 30 days was up, WoW got very un-fun (is it me, or is raiding in BC worse than raiding in MC/BWL/AQ40?...but I digress). Looking to have some fun, I reupped those three accounts, hassled Robert about 4 times for new Keyclone keys after motherboard crashes and reinstalls (you're the best man!), and the rest is history...

I'm hooked! My 5x shaman team on Elune has levelled faster than any other character, and I can take out pretty much anything. And boy, they are so much easier to play than my mixed team I started with. They're now level 55 and working through BRD, and I haven't had this much fun in WoW for ages! I even started up a guild just for my shammy girls (Fixxation...toons are Fixxa, Fixxb, Fixxc, Fixxd, and Fixxe). My wife thinks I'm nuts running WoW x5...but we all have to have our hobbies, huh?

Thank you for getting this community together...it's really something. Directing folks to this site when they "/reported" me is also fun.

Hopefully, I'll hit 70 just in time to plow up to 80 with my girls.

    I love it too!

My shamans are starting to bulk out now with some decent gear and some instances im grinding a bit more often so their gear is starting to look the same. A few days ago they looked like some sort of Militia armed with staves, 1h axes, shields, maces, 2h mace and one guy was even wielding a lamp from SFK!

I also enjoy the fact that if I want to go to an instance, I WILL go to an instance.

One neat instance thing is its great for testing out tough pulls. Having tanked prior to running my shaman there are some pulls which I have always been unsure about but I knew if I could make them it would really speed up the run and reduce the risk of wiping. With my 5 shaman I can test any pull I want or test skipping mobs without having to worry about bitching if we wipe
