Copying macros from one slave to next

I have multiple accounts, but I've copied the master WoW program files for all my slaves. I need to redo all my slave macros, and I want to do it once. What do I need to copy between each slave acct\character?

I've copied entire character trees from server down, renamed, and macros still did not show up. Thanks

WTF Folders I think is all you need to copy over. Give me about 5 minutes and Ill tell you if it worked :P

Well, that's what I meant, in WTF.

I copied from Account name down in WTF and created the other four slaves by just renaming the char folder. But it doesn't see any of the macros in each character macro pane.

I just copied the whole WTF folder.

makes it easier.

You also need to make sure, that you are doing one acct. but you need to change all the account names if you are only doing one slave.

Ex. Acct1 is the account name, I copy WTF folder to my Acct2 folder but need to change the actual account names. Personally I just copied my WTF files before I patched or need to reinstall, just makes life easier.

Ok, there is only a config file in the WTF root, but I don't see anything in it related to macros. Also, I'm not moving/copying to another WTF, all slaves are using one folder structure, they all just have different accounts underneath.

There must be some hook in a config file that allows only char name "bozo" to see his macros, even if they are just general (all I'm using, not using specific char macros).

Still can't get any of them to see the first slave I built after copying entire account folder and renaming to each slave.

wow. ok that was wierd.

I closed and opened each Wow client a few times, didn't work.

I just reopened a new client and now they can see the new macros.

hes writing 5 macros at once, just like you play 5 characters at once

the file you are looking for is macros-cache.txt, you will find it in the wtf/account/youraccountname folder, just copy this file to the otheraccountname folders and you are done

Or if you want to make the switch to trinity bars 2, you can just copy its lua file to each of the character's folders. I switched to this a couple months back and its such a great system for doing macros.
