Default If you are up for the challenge! READ ME.

    Hey folks,

I have read more today, scanning through the forums, than I have ever before. I have setup Keyclone. I have macros that work most of the time. (I type faster than my spelling so my macros suffer). My UI is a work in progress. But here's my problem or problems.

    First Question:
I now have 3 BC accounts. (No more money in the budget) And no idea which charaters need to be moved to make a strong Multibox PVE (Heroics) and PVP (Not get too embarassed) team? I will be running with friends to fill in the spaces. (Cant be totally anti-social)
My First Acct Ever - BM Hunter 70, Hemo Rogue 70, Enh Shaman 70, Affliction Warlock 70, Protection Warrior 62
My Second Account - Holy Priest 70 (Wanted to enchant my own items. Didnt even know MB existed)
    My Third Account - None

    Second Question:
My computer system can handle 3 accounts fairly well. I have a 22inch 1680x1050. I am not enjoying using maximize to make my viewing space smaller for one main and the two alts. Do I have to HAVE all three wows running on the screen. Can I just minimize the 2 I am not watching. Is there a reason I must have these little screens stealing my view space.

Thanks ahead of time. You are all great.

    Answer1:
Move warlock to 3rd account and create Prot Paladin on Main, that way you can alternate between Paladin and Warrior if you so wish. Or just leave as it is, and create Prot Paladin on 3rd account. Use Paladin, warlock and Holy priest for starters. Mess around with the other classes.

    Answer2:
Not to sure how to have them completely minimized, but there are a couple reasons you don't want them minimized - first, when they are minimized the OS puts them in really low resource priority, and excessive lag occurs, result is that they will get lost on auto follow and so on.
Second, is that having them on the screen you can see if your toons are getting attacked by other mobs, or if they get stuck in the environment, or if they are running away in a different direction - all of this may happen from time to time and having the small screen gives you a better idea of what is going on.

What classes are your friends running? To be honest tho... I'd choose 3 out of Priest/Warlock/Hunter/Shaman... probably the 3 that are best well geared, and make your friends fill in the other slots with the required roles.

I run my five accounts all @ full screen using keyclone maximizer... they are simply stacked precisely on top of eachother. When you do this, having each window exactly the same size/resolution - the PiP feature of Keyclone really shines. On my rig the screen switching is instant and completely lag free. It's awesome.

I dont give much of a crap about viewing my clones either, so if I do need them for looting, or as a new leader if main dies, I hit macro for the toon i want to select next as focus and follow which is also the key for that toon pip window!

Default I appreciate the info. Keep the ideas rolling.

Thanks again. As to what my friends classes. Mostly its across the board. DPS, Healers, Tanks. I don't think there would be a shortage of fillers. Just wish to make the best of what I currently have to best help. I do wish to make a Paladin. Seems that it would be a whole lot easier to manage in a multi-box situation. All my 70's have a piece or three of kara gear. But mostly just pre kara items. Sunwell rep and such.

although boring for your friends, i would suggest being all dps.. and they'd bring a tank and healer.

If you want to make it easy on yourself, I suggest make a "DPS" account a "Healer" account and a "Tank" Account. You could also throw some DPS onto the other 2 accounts for a 3x dps crew (BGs Arena, etc.) Then all u need is 2x dps, and if they have a tank/healer, switch out your tank/healer for another DPS.

I'd move the warrior to the 3rd account, and roll a new pally too, for tanking. Use your other 70s to boost. Once you have a 70 prot pally, you could run prot pally holy priest and any one of your other DPS toons. If you want, you could also swap the shaman to the priest account, and then you can just respec to resto for your healing duties.

If you can always find a tank/healer, just decide which 3 toons you want to use as a DPS combo (priest lock shaman counds cool to me) On my server, you can NEVER seem to find a tank or healer, which is another reason I'm boxing.

    Default Tank, Healer, Dps.

Lots of good info there. I have gone and started the character transfers that where needed and started a few need fillers for the future.

    DPS - BM Hunter 70, Hemo Rogue 70, Affliction Warlock 70, Shaman 10 ( New MB ), Mage 2( New )
Healer - Holy Priest 70, Enh Shaman 70 ( Soon to be Resto ), Druid 2( New MB )
    Tank - Protection Warrior 62, Paladin 10 ( New ), Shaman 10 ( New MB )

Since I am still waiting to get another monitor someday. Crosses fingers. Might have to sneak it under the wife's radar. I am mostly running full screens on top of each other. So far no major lag issues. And I can see all 3 characters on the screen, so I think I am ok there.

I have read some posts on Boosting. Zolo, and the baron. But all those take a paladin. And of course that's who I am trying to level. Is there another way. There was a hunter trap, feign death, and something with a pet. But not really sure how that works. It might be boring, since I have seen all the quests 10x, isn't questing faster than grinding?

Thanks everyone. Now back to making macros that don't match half the time.

True the zolo trick works best with a paladin, but I think other classes have tried it as well. Plus, if you are leveling a paladin, spec him prot and you can give your booster rank 1 BoSanct (or can you? not sure what lvl is required for this)

Maybe your hunter's pet could tank the skeletons, with the hunter doing mend pet/feign? Or bring the priest for healing too? Also, don't discount the value of a lock in there for quick resets. I was boosting locks, and whenever i was getting too low, or needed gear swap, or zolo was close to dying, I would just jump off of the platform, and summon myself right back up, sometimes with a quick heal i could finish off the skeletons that were still there.

You never know until you try it.

    Default Is it possible?

Is it possible to cast this spell on my 70 warrior for the same effect? Since my paladin will be lvl 35 by then? Just have the warrior stand there?
