    Default Help with 2 Rogues?

Hello I am using 2 rogues with keyclone on one computer, I can do the follow macros and fight mobs and it works fine however when I fight I would like one rogue to get behind the target to backstab and one my main in front of the target is this possible? 8|

Yes. I've been toying around with 5 rogues this way. First, you probably know that a melee attack from your rogues will break /follow. So, the alt rogue will stop as soon as he attacks. Use a gouge/stun to temporarily snare the enemy, then move your main rogue to the opposite side. This way, whichever rogue has the aggro will leave the other one open for backstab attacks. It takes a lot of work positioning, but it can be done once you get the hang of it.

Don't bother trying this for pvp unless you can make sure the enemy is stun-locked the entire time.. chances are they'll be moving too much to try to set up backstabs.

    Currently playing:
    Akama [Empire of Orlando]
    Zandantilus - 85 Shaman, Teebow - 85 Paladin, Kodex - 85 Rogue.

Definitely going to 4-box Diablo 3 after testing the beta for how well this would work.

Haven't you seen the latest patch notes? Get rid of them rogues!!!

If you are using autohotkeys, you could script it to walk for x milliseconds, then turn for x milliseconds (180 degrees)... but that would be against the TOS.

You could, however, make a keybinding that would make the second rogue walk thru the mob... release this key and press another key that would have your second rogue turn...releasing it when he has turned 180. This would be in compliance w/ the TOS.

The idea of multiple rogues on a mob sounds extremely OP, but the idea of multi-boxing rogues sounds incredibly complicated. Rogues are all about timing and precision. I just don't see how you can work the both of them efficiently. Not saying it can't be done... just saying it's most likely going to be inefficient.

My hats off to you for trying...

Hey, actually i am boxing 3 rogues as we speak. Rogues are too OP in PvE and even more in PvP if you can get the skills down.

When you pull (dont stealth, its silly lol..)
I simply run up to the mob and gouge him, then run through him and face the other way and double mouse click to face that direction.
Press (3) Backstab and you have the aggro over your two slaves.
    Your slaves press 3,
    you all press 1.
DEAD, hits the floor harder then a ton of bricks.
A few times i have achieved overkill in wow where the human mob litterally gets sweeped off his feet and falls on his back dead. Its great.

IF you will stealth, Do what i said above, run gouge
    rogue 2 and 3 ambush,
    loot.

    As for PvP
Distract the mob, sap, cheapshot, or gouge,
    treat him as a pve.
    Kidneyshot rogue 1
    rogue 2 ambush, kidney shot
rogue 3 ambush, sinister strike, kidney shot
    DEAD.

    Its a great feeling honestly.

    And MACRO EVERYTHING!

    /assist focus
    /cast sinister strike
    /follow focus

do this for litterally every move for pvp. It takes a bit of time but its necessary.

too much work... I prefer just casting lightning bolt.

So, I was helping a 65 mage w/ the ring of blood quest... A few ally were there when we got there and they attacked him. I cleaned house. They came back...cleaned house again... they disappeared. We start the quest and apparently some priest was flying overhead, watching us, when I had tabbed to target the second mob (the twins match). I started casting lightning bolt and I noticed that my target didn't have the elite dragon thingy around his frame. Before I even realized that I had an alliance targeted, I saw the spirit of redemption fall from the sky. ooops. My point... you can't do that w/ a rogue.

I would like one rogue to get behind the target to backstab
Run through the mob with your main, the mob should turn around and face your main leaving your alt to backstab
