Default Boosting a single char with 4 70s

    Hi all,

I have my 4 70 shaman and wish to get my 47 Paladin up to speed to replace my druid tank (as I find it too difficult to manage 4+ pulls in Heroics with a druid tank).

Shaman aren't known for their boosting abilities, so my question is, of my methods listed below, which will be the quickest?

    1. Group Paladin with 1 Shaman and have shaman lightning bolt his way through what instances he can.

    2. Group Paladin with 4 Shaman and have them clear instances.

    3. Group Paladin with 4 Shaman. Have Paladin drop group before pull. Paladin tags the mobs and then the shaman nuke them down. Reinvite Paladin after mobs are dead to prevent being kicked from instance. Paladin gets 100% of the XP from the Elite kills.

I already believe it is option 3, but I've only seen this done in Outlands (as Outlands instances give a rediculous amount of xp/kill). I'm sure it will be just as profittable in Pre-BC instances, but I thought I'd ask the community.

But yeah, one of the methods of boosting, as well as flying through strictly kill, escort and named mob loot kills with the 4 shaman to level the Paladin.

Fur, you leveled a Paladin after you already had 4 70 Shaman, right?

    3. Got nerfed you no longer get extra xp on the lowbie by doing this.

I'd advise to take a couple of the shamans and invite some random lowbies to lower the grp average level.

I don't think this works anymore. Think they fixed it a patch or 2 ago. I would say try scholo with 2 shams and see what happens. Bring another if you need the help... See what you get for xp. I get about 1.75 bars per scholo run (you can probably get more, i only do the first room in scholo and then reset. I only have a rogue so i can't aoe, and the first room does not have any runners. it takes me 15 or less minutes to clear out the room, run out and rest and repeat. Get about 7 bars per hour. I tired the second room, but there is one guy that when attacked runs around the room agroing everything and summons skeletons).

works extremely well as soon as u can enter outland instances, more specifically coilfang and higher.

The mobs there will be green to your 70's and therefor still give the pala loads of XP. 4x70 and a lowbie (dunno lowest level to enter there) should net you loads of XP.
Untill that level I always boost with 1x 70 warrior with a bunch of lowbie healers to speed it up and increase XP
