Yes, ReadyBoost. Cached > HD spam.

And I got the upgrade from 2GB to 4GB a few days ago.

MASSIVE improvement in performance. Best $70 for a computer I ever spent.

If yeh got a quad core with at least 4 gigs of memory it aint the hardware thats slowing yeh down its the software.
Its mind boogling how vista slows down even the fastest computers :P

readyboost was designed when memory was still kinda expensive and drive wheren't as fast.

that being said if yer using ready boost yer slowing yer system down the average hard drive has more thru put then flash memory go figure.
harddrive cache > readyboost :P

harddrive cache > readyboost :P
*SNIFF* *SNIFF* What's that smell? Oh yeah. Read and become enlightened. Some real-world figures for you. I'll grant you that readyboost doesn't normally offer a significant gain (anywhere near what adding more RAM or going to a RAID 0 variant) but please don't talk out of your ass and further complicate things for the folks that don't know any better.
Now playing: WoW (Garona)
