At 70 i am planning to do shadow step ambush spec.
What team (any 3 classes) would give me the biggest problem?
What can you do to give me advice to beat teams that would make 3 rogues tough?
Looking forward to your feed back.

Movement.
No, seriously. You solve movement, next up would be heavily-geared DPS warriors or rogues, IMO. Don't think squishies would give you much trouble aside from the odd priest fearing you off. Maybe SL/SL locks after them. Heavy healer teams would be a bitch, too.

Ugh what do you mean by movement, as in regaining from fear bombs?Originally Posted by 'Ughmahedhurtz',index.php?page=Thread&postID=87784 #post87784
Actually i am happy you mentioned it, i know litterally nothing about warlocks cept they are too op.
SL SL, Soul link, Siphon Life i think, why would this be a roadblock? How could the demolish me, because you said clothies wouldnt be hard but then you pointed out warlocks being the exception
Do SL SL warlocks have felguard, what are their key aspects?
Also, heavey geared dps warriors, plate and armor xmillion, Would ambush and cheapshots, kidney stuns even affect these targets?

When I say solving movement, I mean that PVP targets hardly ever stand still and melee attacks break /follow, meaning you'll have to constantly reposition/refollow your alts.
SL/SL locks are a problem because they heal themselves the whole time through siphon life + drain life and have a lot of mitigation for squishies due to soul link. Just makes them significantly harder to take down quickly while they're running around dotting you up and fearbombing you. Oh, and they don't get felguard.
Some of the combo-point attacks rogues get ignore armor. I'd suggest looking up the skills on wowhead or somewhere like that to figure out which ones and how well those would fit into a DPS rotation for you.

Nowadays warlocks are some of the easiest targets for rogues(with some cooldows ready).
You know nothing about a class, but state they are overpowered? Or what do you mean? ?(i know litterally nothing about warlocks cept they are too op
I often had the thought about a rogue team or adding some to a team. But I think especially in PVP you wouldn't be able to accomplish much. Positioning and movement are to complex. At least I would not be able to keep 3 or more chars in the back of someone running and moving around. Perhaps ShS helps a bit, but I guess I would try a combat specced team. Makes it a bit easier.
(Maybe I'm wrong and crippling poison makes it all possible.)

I agree - warlocks are definitely not OP in arena. The class that is their nemesis, has to be rogues, so I found it rather ironic to be called overpowered by one.
Pre level 66 bg's rogues were pretty much 50/50. If i saw them coming then they were dead. If they got the jump on me then I was in trouble.
Post 66 and that pesky cloak of shadows I considered myself lucky if I managed to get the heck away from them, or if i lasted long enough for help to arrive. I had slightly more success with felguard builds. Mainly for the intercept stun and for the continued melee damage done to the rogue whilst he was under the effects of cloak of shadows and 99% invulnerable to spells.
SL/SL is probably the most survivable spec in arena for a warlock - but gimps the damage massively. It becomes better with a healer on the team as siphon life isn't going to be enough to sustain healing - and lets face it if you are draining life you are standing still and are gonna get kicked. SL/SL was also hurt massively when Blizzard corrected the warriors MS ability (And hunters aimed shot) to affect the healing of drain life.
My very limited experience of arena has been rather negative (a lot of it a gearing issue).. I might stand a chance in a 5v5 team where I can hide in the crowd and rely on others to keep me alive and take out melee but other than that, I'm an easy kill.
I think movement will be your biggest problem as stated earlier. I think a 3 person rogue team would be amazing. I think 1 person trying to control 3 would not have the same effectiveness.

Well to respond back, of course im not 70 yet so i don't know about arena's but i wanted to talk about my experience in bg's. WSG to be specific
I didn't die once.
It was a totally overpowered feeling. Twinks decked out in hundreds or thousand of gold worth enchants, and etc, i killed dam near most of em.
The only class i didn't try to face was paladins and warriors, i was to scared of the mail lol.
But as for the other classes, on a warlock which was completely twinked, i stealthed up to im/her and did the usual sap, Without my shadowstep (which will make it so much easier)
I dropped 2 ambushes, 2 backstabs, 3 kicks, 3 -3combo point eviscerates. He/her dropped like a ton of bricks. It was great
Since ALL my moves are one macros and 3 buttons for cast sequences. I defeated a druid and shammy easily. More stuns later will make for easier kills.
like Cheap shot, kidney shot, mace spec.
All in all my experience was a really positive one, i really think i could pull off some sort of good rating in arenas. I will be dam dedicated too.

I'm really interested to hear your arena experiences. I can't even get my 4 shaman into melee range correctly, let alone rogues.

Any single Sap, Fear, Snare, Root, Poly, Trap, Charm, Stun > 3 rogues... Essentially ANY CC and you've lost 33% of your damage output, and you either have to wait for them to be un-CC'd, or abandon them as a loss. /gg
