    Default Come on now, xel...

Today was my first day of arena as 5x huntard. who do i run into?
4x boxed shamans, 1 priest. Even with aspect of the wild up (+70 nature resist) my pets and I were toast in seconds.
I'm not saying I shoulda won, or even killed anyone, but what are YOU doing in a 1500 rated match vs me?
Ah well, 10 losses down, on to the S2 honor grind till next week.

    Turbo,

As I've never heard of anyone else posting about their 70 hunter experiences (possibly because their aren't that many 70 hunter quad/5-boxers out there yet), I have some questions.

No specific questions, but can you go over strengths and weaknesses of Multiboxing hunters at lvl 70? What classes give you pain? What your general gameplan is at this point? Do you trap much or just unload?

    Any info would be appreciated!

All my first reply... DESTROYED!!!! dangit.

Anyway - strengths and weaknesses (so far). Strengths - massive damage output and focus fire. Weaknesses - ~8000 hp, no resilience, no healer.

World PVP: people tend to leave me alone, and have since about lvl 63. BUT there was this one level 70 full S2 fire mage, he tried the aoe everything method to killing me and i killed him (i was lvl 65 then). He brought back his 4 70 guildies and camped me till I went to make a sandwich. Later in the week (i was 69 then), I found where he's farming primal manas, and camped him and his guild for over an hour. I'll go back later and do it some more, lots more (holding a grudge is my forte).

In arena, all i try to do is kill as fast as possible. In my 10 matches this week, i killed 7 people total. 3 in 1 match. Arena is not my strong point (yet? or evarrrr) Record: 0-10

WSG: I hate this place. My strategy here is to prevent the flag from leaving the room. Pets are put on aggressive, near the tunnel entrance to the room. I'll sometimes take a position in the corner of the flag room putting traps by the flag periodically (max traps spec). other times i'll plant my chars on roof to rain heck from above. Sometimes people report me afk, and it works as most times i don't see people in the room very often. thats when i have to go midfield and DPS there. When people bum rush the room, the flag gets out, when they come in 1-3 at a time, they all die. Record: 3-31

AB: Don't like this one either, but its much better than WSG. The standing at the flag waiting for cap is the worst part. Since I'm alliance (shoulda rolled orcs) I usually go to mine, cap, then off to farm, cap and defend against the neverending stream of farm retaker wannabe's. Record: 44-31

AV: I used to like this the best. But the battlegroup I'm on, the horde have learned how to defend their base. Here, I can rush the base, but (unless I have a paladin in front of me as a blocker) the lead char takes a LOT of archer damage, and ends up with about 2K hp at the relief hut flag. Galvanger last about 15 seconds with sustained focus fire with the raid and my hunters (1 fear). My following chars ALWAYS fall off the internal ramps in the horde towers, so I don't cap those. I can however, stand inside the ground floor, and defend quite well there. Record: 22-65

EOTS: My new favorite. I can move the bar for a node without being on top of the hill. I can attack with impunity at the base of the hills (see my UBAR mspaint skilz). I can (with 1 intimidate on a target) take most single targets down b4 they have a chance to react (xcept damn pallies). I can take down groups of 3-5 players if they don't notice me right away. Setup at base of hill with 5x snake traps. Start unlaoding on the healer or mages. when the tank comes down the hill, they pop like 75 snakes (max traps again) and feign. the tank tab targets 12 snakes b4 finding a char or maybe even a pet thats named the same. This allows me to run up the hill and take the high point from them. After killing the defenders, it takes a few more seconds till their graveyard is gone. we have won lots of games only having capped 1-3 flags. just holding 3 bases and me running back and forth to defend them from the bottom of the hills. Edit: forgot the record: 33-12

    Feel free to ask more.
