Getting Basic Key Broadcasting Working

I've read and reread the tutorial and other threads but I'm just getting confused. All I want to do is broadcast keystrokes from the server PC to all the client PCs.


On the front (Status) Panel of Octopus 1.3.3 I have ticked the Braodcast : Keys box at the bottom left. I have gone to the server tab, selected keys, pressed New, given the list a name, then clicked the keys I want to broadcast. Should keys now be broadcasted to the clients I have connected to it ? Or do I need to select something on the clients ?



It isn't broadcasting for me and the tutorial is confusing me talking about window titles. When I move the mouse pointer to the different clients the main keyboard works just fine on them.

Do you have WoW.exe setup to receive key presses? There's an option to "Auto Add clients named _____" you need to make sure that's setup.
