Group Composition

I have 5 accounts I can dedicate to the project, I also have a friend who will boost 4 of us on occasion.

I'm really digging the 1 Pally/4 Shaman group.

I was wondering, though, if I could substitute a Shammy for say a Mage. Just to have a 70 Mage =).

Would that kill the synergy? Would it make my life ALOT more difficult or could I just AP/POM/Pyro whatever Macro HA.

I love my pally / 4x shaman group, but it would have been MUCH quicker if I had swapped in a mage simply for Int buff, food/water, and ports. An AoE tank + 4x totem of wrath + 4x magma totems + 4x chain lightning is nice though...

Mages are great utility to have for Buffs and free food... and dont forget the ports . There is no one setup that works the best for everyone. Just try it. Currently i'm playing a Pally tank, Mage dps, Warlock dps, Priest heal, Shaman dps and i love the diversity of buffs/dmg. and at early lvls the Mage is killing everyone in dps. BY ALOT OF DMG! But when you start adding lightning overload and etc. i'm sure the shamans will keep up nicely.
