Traditionally the primary difference, I believe, is that the GTS has more memory bandwidth and is a 2x wide card. The GT has more pixel units than the GTS, but less memory bandwidth, and is a 1x wide card.

Right so if you had the choice of buying either a ATI 4870 512MB or a 8800GTS 512MB, you´d take the ATI? Has anyone used this on their multiboxing setup or is their any reason to think it would have any issues with MBing by it´s design?
Edit - my internet research suggests this is quite the dumb question but never harm in being sure.
