New to Shamans

So I took the plunge and rolled to ever so original 1xpally, 4xshammie. They all just hit twenty and I'm not sure how to spec my shammies, they are currently all elemental with just five points spent on one of the first elemental talents, anyone have a link to thier talent spec or a simple advice of where to put points?

My pally is easy enough to spec, but if anyone wants to share thier spec it might be interesting

I'm also toying with the idea of going all melle with the shammies, but ultimatly I probably won't because I am on pvp, and although I expect to get murdered alot that can only make it easier for people my own level to get me.

same here, i been thinking of posting a post to talk about shammy talent build chit chat tread.
considering i am boxing 5 shammys a talent speck chance migth provide my survivability and dps output a little bite.

so far i am going for the 41.0.20 build when i ding 70 i am tinking of tidal mastery

thanks to both of you thats what I'm looking for. They seem to be varied, which is good I guess, no one perfect spec.

One question though the second tier fire totem talent, why not get it? At level 20 they are doing good damage for me, does this change later or is it that 5% is insignifigant?

that is the question of the year, when you just play one shammy with elemental speck, then it is a lot easier to find a suitable speck. but when you multibox some shammy's.
due to talent config and totem stacking and the fact that if you just play shammys without a tank or a dedicated healer. then the talent config
is a bite more inportent, generelly speaking i have so far ignored totems talent improvements, but since i started five boxing, i been started to reconsider it.
but so far i only got 3x18 2x55 so i am boosting self trougth stockade at the moment, when i will get to scarlet monestary details get more importent.

tobad there is no theorycrafting "geeks" that have gone trougth all the theory's with five shammy's atleast that i know of.

edit been messing with talent calc. this soulds like a nice nuke and mana battery/heal build for 5 shammys

Been playing shaman for like 3 years now. Theres allot to consider compared to soloboxing.
Do u only pvp or pve ?
Do u raid or only do heroics ?
And then theres the group setup: 5x ele shaman's, 1tank 4x ele shaman, 1tank 3x ele shaman and a healer, and variations of spec from eatch slave.

Those are they most vaiable specs from my PoV. ofcourse ppl have diffrent toughts and ideas about talents.

So here is a question...

What are peoples thoughts about speccing one shammy as main healer, even as low as level 20. Worth it or a waste?
I run a pally tank.

As of now I have not but I am considering it.

I wouldnt spec him to resto before lvl 40, just give ur dedicated healer all the healing loot.
Put him in healing gear in instances and dmg gear on quests.

this is theoreticly tho, im not that experienced with multiboxing. i can let u know in a week or so. ^^

Elemental Warding at 70? I'd go with unrelenting storm myself, but at least Eye of the Storm, since obviously Elemental precision (As it is a cookie cutter skill) is about as worthless as a politician post totem of wrath.
