Sham 5 box - heal spec early?

Ok, so - My 5 man team is sitting at 11 - All talents so far in elemental.

I got a heal macro on 1 of them, to heal the target of the focus-target - which works most of the time -- 2 questions though:

a) I plan to do RFC around 14 maybe, or at least try - But I find that my healer go oom very very quick - Do you solve that with heal spec (even at 14 does it make a difference)? Having multiple healers? Or just suck it up until you get gears/levels?

b) Is there a way to stop the current spell cast on my healer and cast the heal, ie in the heal macro stop the current spell if casting? Do you keep the healer out of nuking to save mana?

I use 5 healers. I have 2 melee and 3 resto. I pull with lightning bolts (about 2-3) and then just shock and melee, so I never need to interrupt anything to heal. I use 2 heals at once, you can do them alone, but if one gets stopped or slowed, you probably aren't very happy. I also like to spread out the healing done, so others can regen while not casting (5 second rule). I use owl and eagle gear mostly. It gives int for mana, spirit for regen and stam for staying power. Try food also, you should be able to use the 200 food. It gives stam and spirit, again to give breathing room.
