Default help with setup and with spell sequencing

just after a little help with my 5 shaman, ive gotten them to 17 now but am having trouble with some cast sequences

    i use a
    /assist toon1
    /cast lightning bolt rank#

    for my damage spell

and i use the mass invite macro to invite so thats good

but what im looking for is a totem stomping sequencing macro, specifically if someone could copy paste what they use id really appreciate it, that way i could bind it to a key and spam it when i get higher and start pvp

also im having trouble running 5 copies of wow on 1 monitor, is this a video card issue or maybe a pc issue? 3 is fine, 4 runs a little laggy, 5 continuously dcs 1 of the accounts.

    and im using
    /clearfocus
    /focus toon1
    /stopmacro [target=focus, exists, nodead]
    /focus toon2
    /stopmacro [target=focus, exists, nodead]
    /focus toon3
    /stopmacro [target=focus, exists, nodead]
    /focus toon4
    /stopmacro [target=focus, exists, nodead]
    /focus toon5
    /assist
to switch leaders if my main goes down

im getting errors with some of my macros too

    like
    /assist focus
    wont work at all.

cheers for reading my essay guys, and any help would be appreciated.

I use focusframe addon to see and watch my focus. I bet using anything with focus in it with no focus will fail, so check to see what your focus is before using /assist focus. Also, it doesn't target your focus, it will auto-target the focus's mob, so if your focus doesn't have anything targeted, then when you /assist focus, your alts will clear their target....just like your focus.

I don't like to EVER target mobs, so I use focus on my main and then my alts use:
    /cast [target=focus-target] DPSSpell for DPS
    /cast [target=focus-target-target] HealSpell for healing
No targeting, no changing targets, no worring about names, no worry about who has aggro.
I also can still kill things even if my main dies. He can still target things, so the alts still just kill whatever my main targets. No need to change anything.
You can shorten, but probably achieve same results in the assigning focus part, try (might need a tiny adustment, I am at work):
    /focus [target=party1, nodead] [target=party2, nodead] [target=party3, nodead]

For totems, I have a lay all down button and seperate lay all of one kind down buttons. I have 2 melee and 3 resto, so
/castsequence reset=combat/16 Stoneskin Totem, Healing Stream Totem, Grounding Totem, Searing Totem (for main)
/castsequence reset=combat/16 Strength of Earth Totem, Healing Stream Totem, Grace of Air Totem, Searing Totem (for melee alt)
/castsequence reset=combat/16 Stoneclaw Totem, Healing Stream Totem, Grounding Totem, Searing Totem (for resto's, but 1 uses mana spring)
I have the melee alt put in a poison cleansing totem instead of a healing in BG's, so rogues can't auto-win. I also use it for mobs (spiders, etc).
Just leave out the parts you don't have yet.
I then put 4 healing stream and 1 mana spring on a hotkey, same with 5 searing, same with 4 grounding and 1 grace of air, etc.

Good luck and hope that helps.

thanks heaps for those cast sequences, ill try them

the only reason im concerned with the focus thing, is that when i use my change main macro
    /clearfocus
    /focus toon1
    /stopmacro [target=focus, exists, nodead]
    /focus toon2
    /stopmacro [target=focus, exists, nodead]
    /focus toon3
    /stopmacro [target=focus, exists, nodead]
    /focus toon4
    /stopmacro [target=focus, exists, nodead]
    /focus toon5

i want to be able to pick up the new mains target and keep nuking
    cheers

ok so ive changed my change main to read like this

    /focus [target=party1, nodead] [target=party2, nodead] [target=party3, nodead][target=party4, nodead]

so i spam that when my main goes down

then tab to target and spam my assist main macro

    /target focus
    /assist
    /cast Lightning Bolt(Rank 3)

    so that should work yeah?

sorry for all the long talking but im a real macro noob, and ive never been a keybinder either, im a (1-5)clicker and the other buttons i click with mouse usually.

and ive copied your main totem stomper macro, 1 melee totem stomper and 2 caster totem stompers, since i cant use 5 accounts atm cause of vid driver or pc issues ill try my hardest to get 4 toons to 70 and join them in with my current 70 shaman, whos ele geared already.
