Thread: 3/2 set up...

    Default 3/2 set up...

    Hey guys,

At the moment I'm only 3-boxing. I have a friend who I've introduced to boxing and he's 2 boxing.

So my question is, assuming we're interested in going all the way to end-game heroic 5-man instances, what class combo would you guys recommend?

I know that the 4 shammy/1pally set up is very popular, so my first guess would be 1 pally/2 shammy for me and 2 shammy for him. (This is based partially on the fact that he's already started a 2 shammy team.)

But we're willing to start from scratch.

    What do you guys think?

    Edit:
P.S. We would also probably be interested in taking this team in a part of 10-man instances too.

OK the first thing that comes to mind is YOU'RE playing 3 dps, HE can play a dps and a healer type... He should MAIN play the healer, but setup his dps to ASSIST YOU!!!

Then again.. I could be wrong. Would be interesting though.

I've thought about if a 3/2 setup wouldn't be more efficient than a 4/1 setup before. Interesting it gets brought up.
Resto Shaman + 4 DK's, work in progress...

I understand exactly what you're saying... the only reason I suggested I go with the pally, is that he already has a 2-shaman team. But you're way does seem simpler.

I'd say have you play 3 dps, and have him play 1 tank 1 healer.

If you played shaman, you could even tell him to not bother with healing you (in the situations where you do take any dmg). If so, tanking and healing actually go together pretty well since you are healing yourself (you know when you need the heals).
No matter where you go, there you are.
