Arena Gear - can you buy with Heroic Badges

I was looking on wowwiki and saw that heroic badges can be used to buy gear that is equiv to epic pvp and T4 stuff. Can you buy S2 or the S3 gear with Heroic badges or only the typical BG honor gear?

You can buy some honor gear with badges. But not arena gear.

The part of buying pvp gear for honor is a bit miss understod i belive.. the only gear that exist that can be bought from badgets atm is the items in shatt from the normal badgets vendor like the PVP backs (that i btw got 4x of tonight ) and the new gear that come with sunwell that you can find on the isle..

The s2 gear is still only bought from honor, s4 honor gear is still honor....

Its says the badge gear is on par with that of Teir X and PVP gear. You can't buy PVP gear with badges, on .. badge gear

There are Badge Gear without resilience that have the same ilvl PvP Gear.

I think the Cloaks from badges is good for PvP that is better than the Sergeant Heavy Cape/Cloak.

The Trinkets of the same stats can be bought with Badges or Honor (30k ?).

you can now buy PvP gear from the vendor on the isle where you do dailies. 40 badges or something for the s2 belt / wrists / boots

Yeah, but it's S2. I suppose if a player has spent more time in PvE and decides to go PvP gearing, I would consider that a start up off-set since there is a PvP Rep Vendor set.

But I think when, time-wise spent. Saving 60 badges for the PvP Cloak gear that is better than the Sergeant Cloak/Cape for 7500 honor + 20 AB tokens.

Likewise, there is an identical stat item fro 30k honor that can be obtained with 60 of 75 Badges: Battlemasters of Xxxx.

(ilvl = 136) S2 Veterans belt/boots/wrist is no longer available for purchase via Honor, but can be bought with Badges.

(ilvl = 146) S3 Vindicator belt/boots/wrist is only available via via Honor + tokens. There are comparable Badge gear (similar item level) but without resilience stat.

(ilvl = 141) There are Armor sold in IQD for 75 and 100 badges. It's powerful in its own way, but without Resilience, except the Cloak.

i know thread is old, but you can buy arena stuff (current pvp honor gear) with badges from the guy upstairs in the armory on the isle of quel danas or however its spelled lol
