I know you guys may be fed up with all the repetitive questions, but thats par for the course. Thats how the site grows and how more people are drawn to multiboxing. Making posts with general "zomg here we go again" tones behind it arent really good for buisness

    Just my .02 cents.

Yes, but this is the general forums not the newbie. Stated that in general and you get a newbie post then it is open fire (Newbie Season... lol). If it was in the newbie forum then you have to be nice.

I agree to a point. The problem is, when they post in general rather than the new user forum shows they don't bother reading even the most simple instructions so why would people think they'd bother to read any helpful advice or act on it. It shows an attitude of entitlement that everything is about them and they need do nothing, people will give them everything they require....and that won't fly.

Posts like this on the new user forum will generate help (even though the correct answer was posted in the 2nd post and the OP decided to get ready for a rant on Blizzards policies) or people will just ignore them so it's quite simple for people......post in the right place and get the right answers

... i just love how nice you threat newbies.
You're breaking a number of our rules as well as Blizzard's rules. I might also like to point out that lately, the multibox community is having image problems because airheads like you openly admit to violating Blizzard's rules.

I disagree. I didn't post any threads here until quite some time after registering. I was totally capable of finding the information on my own and expecting the same thing from others is entirely reasonable.

I'm thinking there are going to be a lot of people that may not have a lot of experience in using forums and therefore not aware of common forum etiquette. I'm also thinking that internet n00bs may not even know what a wiki is. Hard to believe huh.

How about a sticky in the New Multibox section that talks about the wiki and what information people can get from them. Maybe title it in all caps, bold red font, flashing lights, and wild animated pink flamingos flying around it.

Just a thought about some of the negative comments to n00b posts. I'm not judging here, just trying to help make the forums an overall positive experience.

My suggestion is to just ignore these types of questions. This will force the user to find his or her own information. And, if there are people in the community that are willing to help and answer the same question 50 times, then I say let them. Bottom line is I don't think anything is gained from some of the comments (even if they had it coming!). They obviously don't read the entire forum, so they aren't going to see how people react to such questions.

    Any hoo...that's my 2S.

    edit: typo

If they posted these threads in the New User forum to start with I totally agree. The problem is, these types of posts (and this one in particular) start off getting posted in general which clearly states it isn't for help/support and then get moved here when a mod sees them...the posts pointing out the thread is in the wrong spot always stop once that happens
