Default New Multiboxer, important Question ;O

    Hey Dual-Boxing community,

I have started multiboxing yesterday, i played 4 shamans but I'm thinking about going 4 hunters instead, since i could do instance runs more often and easier..
But anyway, I do not own 4 accounts, I use 3 friends' their accounts [One of them is of my brother] to multibox.

I was wondering, I assume that i will get reported a lot, but will I get in trouble for playing on someone else their accounts?

Greetings; ioolool, iòólool, ioolòól, ioòlóol

1 million percent you will lose those accounts. Sorry. If you want to experiment, try trial accounts to play around and see if you like it. But when you end up getting real accounts, they ALL have to be in your name, only your name.

I was wondering, why would blizzard ban you if you play friends' teir accounts, but they don't when you play 4x your own account....

Is this beceause Blizzard doesn't make more money out of me?

    1. You lied, this wasn't an important question
    2. There are 2 threads about this stuff on the first page. Search feature is on the site for a reason
    3. Good luck explaining to your friends why their accounts are banned because you don't understand the difference between account sharing and account owning....yeah, it's because Blizzard want you to pay 4x as much, of course.

I'm sorry, it seems you were looking for the New User forum...you know, the one called that, directly below the General forum. And for the record, no-one threatened you.

Well anyway, i will have to stop multiboxing anyway, since i can't afford 4 accounts at the moment.

So i'll just give up on multi-boxing for a while...

When you post in the wrong forum, about something that's been done TO DEATH over and over and over and over again, you're not exactly going to enamor yourself with us.

It's nothing personal. A newbie posting a newbie question in a non-newbie part of the boards is open to fire, especially when this question is answered on the New User forum, FAQs, & Wiki. This sort of cold-shoulder treatment of newbies posting newbie questions in non-newbie parts of a site happens on nearly EVERY forum on the net. You'd think people would understand why they may be initially treated harshly by now.. no one reads the frickin' rules on any forum, even if they're plastered across the front page.
    Ex-WoW 5-boxer.
    Currently playing:
    Akama [Empire of Orlando]
    Zandantilus - 85 Shaman, Teebow - 85 Paladin, Kodex - 85 Rogue.

Definitely going to 4-box Diablo 3 after testing the beta for how well this would work.
