I saw this post and got worried since my children play on the accounts that I use, and they have several 70 characters of their own. I opened a ticket on my main last night. I waited long enough to run an instance, with no reply, but woke up this morning to this email and i thought i'd share. Heres the email:

Greetings Robby,

Thank you for contacting the World of Warcraft Game Master Department.

Petition: I am a multiboxer, though i'm not boxing right now. I pay for all five accounts that I use. I have multiboxed on this server and plan to continue. All the blue posts In the forums that i've read have stated that multiboxing is ok. I'm just making sure since my children play on these accounts as well and I don't want to jeopardize their characters.

Thank you,
Robert F.

Answer: Multiboxing is a legitimate playstyle and fully within our policies as long as certain guidelines are followed. All accounts must belong to the player using them, and be registered to the name and email address of the boxing player. Additionally, no form of automation may be used, up to and including the "delay" function of G15 keyboards and similar input devices. While a split signal may be used to control accounts simultaneously, any form of bot or automation will push multiboxing from legitimate to against policy. We hope that you are abiding by our policies and enjoying your multiboxing experience, and we wish you the best of luck in your endeavors.

Should you require further assistance, please submit another help request the next time you are online. We hope you continue to enjoy your experience in World of Warcraft!
