So I am curious... for those of you who box in arena/bg's, what is your average latency?

I'm seriously thinking about forking out the $75 to xfer my 3x shammy team. I've been playing on Dalvengyr (East Coast Server, Boston Data Center), yet I am located on the West Coast (Los Angeles). I suppose I chose Dalvengyr because it was the "recommended" server, and I didn't do my homework.

I am getting a 250-300ms ping to the server I am playing on. This means that I have anywhere from 0.5 -- 0.6 second delay on follows, focustarget, etc. [250ms to get to the server, 250ms to come back] Half a second does not seem like a lot, except when you're in combat and want to earth shock/silence/etc. To put things in perspective... When I jump (spacebar) on all three characters, the delay is so bad that when I land on one character, it shows the other two characters starting to jump. Again, roughly a half second delay. In rare cases, there is almost a full second delay. When I switch targets to cast on, the other two are still casting on the old target (at least one spell cast). Rather annoying.

I created a couple of toons on Frostwolf (Los Angeles data center) and I was getting a latency of 20-30ms. I have tasted low latency, and it tastes good! Now, before I transfer my tri-box team, I would like to get some input from you guys... Do you think the reduced latency is going to help me in the arena? Aelli, what is your latency at? You seem to be doing the best in the arena.
