DDOS attacks are against Federal Law. Ellay, if I were you, I would do the following, to protect yourself:
Contact the GMs in the CSF forums and see who to talk to, regarding that poster. He needs to lose his posting rights permanently. Even if he's just running his mouth, and I suspect he is, it's still illegal to make threats like that.
Take screenshots of that post, and send them with some background info to your hosting company, so they're aware.
IF there's a DDOS attack, then the hosting company and Blizzard can file accessory charges against the person who posted that.
I'm all for flame wars, but when you start making real world posts, then you need to be shown the error of your ways in a very real, harsh way, like the Feds showing up at your door early in the morning with a subpeona for your hard drive, and nice shiny handcuffs.
It's probably hot air from some antisocial teenager who idolizes the group he mentioned, but, you never know. I have ZERO tolerance for threats, in real life, and online. You want to start throwing the word lawyer around, fine, here's the number for mine. In my line of work, I've had to use lawyers many times to protect my interests, and I havent lost yet. Call to cops? Here's my cell phone, call 'em.
Going to threaten a DDOS attack? Go for it, and then enjoy your stay at Club Fed - I hope it was worth it!
