I can't believe these threads are still creating so much traffic.
Funny thing about the OP is that he kinda skimmed over the fact that it sounds like he ran in unprovoked and fear-bombed a team of 5 characters, then retreated to chuckle to himself. The outcome is pretty predictable regardless of which classes involved and their chase-down abilities. I know that I personally, with a paladin main, think nothing of the 4-5 seconds max it takes me to chase down these kind of fools.
Anyhow, some constructive criticism for Druam and Basilikos in case they are regulars here; you guys need to switch on your sarcasm and friendly-post detectors. In the space of the first 2 and a half pages I could bear to read, I found a few examples of; arguing against a statement which defends multiboxing, flaming/calling out for trolling when the guy was using extreme and obvious sarcasm to mimic and ridicule the OP.
examples:
Druam -I can't be bothered looking up the original source but it's somewhere in the links to GM conversations. Basically the reasoning behind this is that the difficulty of detecting multiboxers (./lol) was given as a "reason" why multiboxing is allowed in WoW. The GM responded that this was laughably untrue, either due to the fact that some of the activities which blizzard do ban for are much harder to detect than multiboxing would be, or due to the fact that it is an outrageous example of fallacious reasoning; in other words it completely disregards the fact that blizzard have no reason whatsoever to detect or ban multiboxing, and is as such a moot point. Please Prove this statement… lets see a Link…. PROOF if you can’t this is a out right lie.According to Blizzard, it's "laughable" that we should think they can't detect who is multiboxing.
Basilikos -I know sarcasm is at best difficult to pick up on the internets and the quoted post has been edited, but even the content which is quoted and discussed is enough to be certain that this guy is taking a swipe at the OP. By presenting an arguement which is equally logically unsound, but more concise and devoid of any seemingly-coherent and reasonable arguement, he is emphasising the OP's failures in logical reasoning.I hate to tell you this, well, no. I lied. I WANT to tell you this...full s3 warrior beats a 6 man group
It wasn't the other guys' fault you lost in PvP. If a single person with a healer beat your group, you should have tried to kill the healer first. 6v2? And the 2 is somewhat gimped? Please stop asking for free HKs.
