Ok, so I'm really tired of horrid lag in cities and slow load times. I'm currently running 5 wow-clients on my Quadcore (Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz pr. core) with 4 gb ram, 10k rpm raptor and 7.2k seagate as storage drive (I have two 24" widescreen displays and a 8800GTX). While it's running decently, Shattrath is still lag-hell with my harddrive crunching like crazy.

I'm not too happy about the 5 pc solution, partly because of the insane power consumption, the space it would take up and the many monitors. So I was thinking about buying two fairly cheap dual-core pc's. Something in the line of 2 pcs with each of the configurations: dual core cpu, 2.4 GHzish, 2 harddrives (one for each client), 1 22" widescreen monitor (since I have one of these already) a cheap graphics card ($100ish) and 2gb ram. The idea would be running the main client on my current pc with full graphics etc and running two slave clients on each of the pcs. In that respect I have a couple of questions before I invest:

1. Would I be fairly lagfree in Shattrath on the slave pc's if I'm running 2 clients on one dual core pc in 800x600 with the lowest possible graphics settings?
2. Is the cheap graphics card able to handle the two clients without trouble?
3. Will synergy run without problems on the setup with three pcs and four displays?

With regards,
