when you posted the chinese wow, after the "power guild and cant find your armoury" post, i loled so hard i spiled a bite of coffee trougth my nose :thumbsup:

Whats the story with that?

Long story short: I went to Hong Kong on a study abroad in 2004 and I moved to Mainland in 2005. Been here ever since. Just shy of 4 years total. I finished college while still in China. When I was in the US I played Everquest back in.... 01? I had a friend that moved on to WOW when it was released and told me how great it was but i stayed away because I wante to graduate college. When I got to China it was so popular. Coke and WOW had billboards and every internet cafe had people playing. So i just thought, "hey, maybe if i played Chinese wow my Chinese will improve!" Haha, i can say warlock and mage in Chinese but it hasn't helped much for daily life. lol

We have a group from China helping out with some of our testing for our products.

We do an "exchange" every once in a while to meet the folks and show them how we work and they show us how they work. During one of the guys' last days he told me he played WoW.

You should've seen how long it took us to figure out what classes we each played. He mentioned "Necropolis" and when I listed "Warrior? Priest? Mage? Warlock?" he seemed to like the warlock. So I'm assuming he was an undead warlock. Or, at least, just a warlock.

And here are the corpses. I remember when they first changed these models.. it was back around the 1.8 Naxx patch.

Even if I can't get to Attumen solo I don't mind clearing some trash every once in a while to get rep rings, and maybe that nature damage trash drop ring.

I made it to Attunmen and Moroes with my 5 box PVE crew. Of course I couldn't kill either of them. :P

By the way, I finally had a chance to look at your priest/tank.

The tank definitely has better gear than mine -- though you should think about upgrading those shoulders. I saw the blue shoulders and went "wtf?" but in reality the rest are purples and some of that badge gear (legs especially) is hawt. You should be getting close to being able to tank Moroes + all the adds at this point, right? Try making a warlock spam searing pain to get them on 2nd aggro, and use BoSac on the 2nd on aggro to pop your tank out of the garotte.

The priest is geared appropriately for Kara, even though she also has some blues... Our healers were a bit overgeared but it made up for the major undergeared-ness of our tanks.

I still have to check out your dps's armories but I'm supposed to be working, so... >.<

Those shoulders have been haunting me forever! I don't really do Seth Halls that much to get the purple shoulders from there, and besides netherspite, I can't think of any other purple shoulders I might have a chance in hell of obtaining. The blue shoulders of the righteous FINALLY dropped for me the other day but I gave them to my 2nd paladin in order to get her to 490 defense. Badge gear doesn't have any tanking shoulders, and the PVP shoulders aren't good for tanking either.

I just got done finished running kara for the night. I one shotted Atuneman, two shotted Moroes, and one shotted the Maiden. The maiden fight was ugly becaues i forgot to use my /castrandom grounding totem,lightning bolt macro. 3 of my guys died at the beginning, i ended up taking her down with 6 guys alive but it took over 9 minutes.

The opera event was big bad wolf. I was dreading that but it was easier than Romulo and Jullianne. I just used Ellays advice and killed him with brute force. The first attempt was pretty ugly, my warlocks pulled agro. My 2nd try was better, I got him down to 1% before finally wiping. The 3rd try I waited for all cooldowns to come back and just went all out DPS. When he turned a toon to little red i just let him kill the guy and kept chugging spells. The fear sucked, but i had grounding totems down. I still had to reface toons though.



Gonna keep on going tomorrow or the next day.

Awesome work! the rest of Karazhan is going to be pretty brutal 10 boxing though. Chess event should be doable, and possibly the final boss. Netherspite and Aran will be a PITA.
