Everyone at the door and the tank just up past the notch. It took several tries but when he went down it was smooth as silk. Had a few bad infernal tries, and then I had a few brainfarts where I didn't keep my tank healed well enough. Overall MUCH easier than Aran.

Couple questions on Aran I'm curious about. Did you interrupt his spell casts at all? If so, did you have a special rotation or something to do it, or do you do what I do when I three box the fight and simply spam Earthshock and assume that one of your shamans is between casts at the moment? (That works a lot better than I expected it to) Also, how did you avoid his AOE CS. I have a problem where I'm the highest aggro in my raid when I have all three of my shamans together, so he occasionally will run over to melee me when he's locked out of schools (or even when he's not sometimes. Or at least I don't think he is) and I have to move my whole group and turn them again to face him.

One last thing, have you ever had one of your characters set off the flame wreath while not moving? I had that happen once, while they were on follow, but all three of us had stopped moving long before the flame wreath casted, and it still set it off somehow. So I have taken to just tapping my formation key just enough to break follow and I haven't seen the problem recur since. Or it could have just been a fluke I suppose.

a. I went in to the fight with full intentions on interupting everything but the arcane missles, but I didn't interupt too many casts. I kept his life lower than his mana for much of the fight using blood lust, but close to the end he did drink and I had 5 guys left. I had already killed the elementals by the time he drank though. The pyro killed one of my dudes, and then i soulstone res'd my priest, and then my paladin died after resing the priest, at the end i only had 3 guys standing.

b. My priest ate the AOE CS and i wiped a few times becaues of it. I kept my guys pretty far back from him, i didn't earthshock too many spells unless he came close to me.

c. A long time ago while 2 or 3 boxing him i stopped well within time when he started to cast flame wreath, but i didn't notice one of my guys got caught in the last little bit of his blizzard and was slowly catching up. We blew up, and it's the only time i had that happen. He could frostbolt your followers and something similar could have happened.

In short:
The arcane explosion I used mass dispel. The blizzard I just stood there and healed through it. The flame wreath I used blood lust. I didn't bother to interupt his spells. I killed the elementals. He did drink and killed one of my guys with a pyro.

Tapping the spread out macro before Aran completes casting Flame Wreath would probably help here. Just don't tap it after the flame wreath is on the ground

My 4 shamans and mage used:

Then it was just a matter of keeping everyone alive with my priest. I have a 4 gig video that I need to figure out how to compress. My Windows movie maker is in Chinese so I'm gonna have to find help. hehe.

I also have a 1.5 gig video of me wiping on Nightbane after getting him to 60%.

When I figure out how to compress and host them I'll share'm.

Yeah I didn't go after him at all. After Illhoof died he was still left and I was trying to blow him up but only my warlocks were casting. My mage and shaman were still targeting the dead Illhoof. haha.

Next week I might try to kill him but I'm not really sure if the dmg boost is worth using the mana.

Massive congrats on 10-boxing Kara! I just started 5-boxing last week and your progress is a massive inspiration to get my toons up to 70! :thumbsup:
