Yeah I didn't go after him at all. After Illhoof died he was still left and I was trying to blow him up but only my warlocks were casting. My mage and shaman were still targeting the dead Illhoof. haha.

Next week I might try to kill him but I'm not really sure if the dmg boost is worth using the mana.

Try having your locks doing seed on illhoof. With you locks seeding you should till the big imps and little imps.

bear bitch hits hard idd, specially in his bear fase, 11k hp is low even for a pally, when you get that up with some t4 and badge loot you would be ready to hit it for sure!

Suvega and I can clear Kara except for Netherspite/Nightbane, but the things holding us back at this point is our tanks' gear. DPS can gear up from arenas/bgs, but you can't say the same for tanks. They literally have to raid/badge grind the whole way up.

Tank gear is always the bottleneck for raid progression. Netherspite was a gear check. Prince was a gear check. Bear boss is a gear check.

S2 Gavel > Continuum Blade.
If you got your shamans their weapon and shield, you can get your pally the gavel.

Im still wearing the blue Righteous Shoulders on my pally tank. When the shoulder drop off Netherspite 2 weeks ago, some 8 year old warrior (literal noob) rolled need on it. I forgot to set it back to masterloot, so an 8 year old pwned me.

Grats on the 10-man, very inspiring.

I think the reason Attumen can't be 5-man by Pally + 4Shamans is there needs to be a decurse in the encounter.

The opera event was big bad wolf. I was dreading that but it was easier than Romulo and Jullianne. I just used Ellays advice and killed him with brute force. The first attempt was pretty ugly, my warlocks pulled agro. My 2nd try was better, I got him down to 1% before finally wiping. The 3rd try I waited for all cooldowns to come back and just went all out DPS. When he turned a toon to little red i just let him kill the guy and kept chugging spells. The fear sucked, but i had grounding totems down. I still had to reface toons though.

2x Blessing of Protection should help buy you time.

Yesterday I went into Zul'Aman feeling good about buying my newb Paladin the badge tanking pants. I still had her spec'd holy for the trash, and my shamans were still in a 40/21 PVP build. I just wanted to get a feel for the trash mobs before I went off respecing. The Zul'Aman trash is significantly harder than Karazhan, but I managed to just use one tank holding everything clear up to the bear boss. There is a 4 pull right before him, two guys on the bears and two axe throwers. It was too much trying to tank all 4, so after a few wipes I tried to sheep one. In Zul'Aman sheep doesn't hold very long at all, and since I didn't feel like micromanaging sheep I just took my mage outta DPS duty and had her do straight sheeps on one of the axe throwers. It worked. So with my paladin holding agro on 3 mobs and my mage sheeping one I cleared to the first boss.

I respec'd my paladin for the boss. I forgot you can't summon people inside zul'aman so my whole raid went frolicking to the meeting stone. It's kind of fun having a whole raid behind you. I ran into some Alliance on the steps and wasted them. haha. When I summoned my litle pally back i was ready. Basically this guy was ALOT harder than I thought he would be. I didn't have my guys spread out far enough on the first try so when he'd do his random charge he'd hit like 3 and send them flying. The dmg was too much for one healer and the positioning mini-game was just getting too tiring. I tried him repeatedly until the trash respawned. I never really did much dmg to him. My newb paladin would just get owned too fast. I think she's just sitting at 11k hp unbuffed.

I think this guy is doable, just need to gear up more.

Holy nuts, nice job clearing to the bear boss. I had to re-gem and re-enchant my Paladin from avoidance to Stamina/Armor for ZA.

The 2 bears next to each other gives each other buffs, or a debuff on the tank, so they are fought apart.

Sheep is still good to control the adds. /cast [target=focus] Polymorph spammed every few cycles should to it.

The bear boss is just positioning and landing taunt. With 2 paladins, the "gamble" part is landing the taunt which is based on "melee to hit" 5.

Amplify magic on everyone helps too.
