Just out of curiosity if we are all getting annoyed by newcomers asking the same questions over and over again... How about changing the roots redirect to the wiki instead of the forums..? People are going to start looking at the first place they are sent.

All of us should know that the main site exists under /forums/ For new comers its a good way to force a good percent of them straight to the wiki. The whole reason I am asking this is because I just looked at it today for the first time. When I first came here I asked one dumb question... Was told off  so I searched some more and found what I needed. After awhile I became really good searching this site. Once I looked at the wiki, sure it didn't have much to offer me because I learned most of it from searching or I learned it on my own.. But WOW it has everything you ever needed to know to get started in one easy to read place... So then why not redirect new people there and not to the forums.. On the Wiki site put a link somewhere... "Can't find it here? Try our Forums"

Just a thought
