Ok, I had heard that Gnomer was a shite instance, but having never run it myself I thought I would bring my pve team in there for the quests. 6 quests, 3.5k xp each means a ton of xp. So I thought anyway. What a poorly designed place. Dont waste your time honestly...
Roving summoners, sprawling layout, boring boss fights. Yeesh.
Anyway my 2 cents.

I totally disagree with it being worthless..
In terms of leveling and experience it may not be the fastest way to get your characters up to 70, but it certainly has benefit. There are multiple pull types inherent in this instance which are not present in previous instances, making you utilize more abilities and develop tactics early on which will benefit you later. Taking the term to learn these will help you greatly later on..

I actually cleared most of it. And I agree I learned some good strats for my team, such as:
1-How to manage groups with melee and ranged mixed together (kinda fun and way easy with prot pally)
2-Effective use of mage aoe...
But as far as fun and entertaining go, it was a fail for me.

Yeah I hate that instance, I ran it about 3 years ago and it was a debacle. Everyone hated it back then. I would imagine it's been nerfed a few times.
This is true. I had run it many times in the few months after WoW's release, and swore I'd never go back. With this team though, I ran it quite a few times at lvl 31-35 and picked up quite a few good items and plenty of enchanting mats. Definitely going to 4-box Diablo 3 after testing the beta for how well this would work.
Some multibox groups can totally cheese the place. If you're relying on a tank and casters, the arcane nullifiers are a huge PITA (or were the last time I ran it). The place is awesome for AoE classes aside from those.

bit of a necro, but only allowed 1 thread per instance... how do you multibox the last boss? he resets agro on the tank, and is imune to taunts..... the bombs require far too much healing through and I dont have enough toons to sit them on the buttons to stop them... is it now an unboxable instance? being horde its going to be a PITA now to come back at higher level to get the acheivment. Any tips or ideas?
