Default Three Becomes Five...OR DOES IT?!

hey all, i've been experimenting with dual and triple boxing the past few months and i feel ready to take the plunge to 5 boxing. My main multi boxing crew consists of three warlocks, they are only level 28. i've experimented with some other combos but i really dig these three. i had a personal healer in my cousin who unfortunately got switched over to the night shift.

i created these toons for no real reason at all other than fun and laughs. PvPing against twinks is horrible at times, fun at other times and overall not something I'm going to pursue. Will do BG's at 70 i think, but not arena.

One thing I am starting to think about is leveling all alone and PvE through instance grinding from SM all the way to outland.

SO....I was thinking of adding a tank and healer to the mix and would like to know what you guys think...these are the combos i'm thinking of

    Pally - 3 warlocks - Priest

Prot Pally - 3 warlocks - Holy Pally

Prot Pally - 2 warlocks - Mage - Holy Pally OR Priest

here are my goals - level as a group of 5, then splitting the group up a bit end-game. Using the warlocks for fun and laughs, using the healers in WoTLK raids with my guild. We are a small guild of RL friends, family and lovers and all that...and are in dire need of healers.

the reason i'm thinkin of the mages is obvious - water, food and portals. i really don't want to split the lock team up but i feel i can level one of the locks with my next team. i am on the fence about this though. i can afford to buy water and stuff but i'm guessing it might get real annoying without a mage.

basically i'd love to hear any opinions on this type of set up. this team is all Belf females, they all look alike except for hair/skin tones. they all look like my rogue. so bottom line is, these classes are "it" for this team, just would like some opinions on the combos.

I will be running 3 toons on one comp and 2 on the other. anyone with pally/pally vs. pally/priest experience - i'd LOVE to hear about it

Although my team is bunch of lowbies (mid 30s) - from I have read and understand, prot pally and holy priest are one of the better combinations.

Prot pally you probably already know about - AoE aggro, nothing beats that.

The reason you want a priest instead of a pally for a healer, is because the pally lacks AoE heals and HoTs, and these types of healing become rather important in high level instances.

My team consists of prot pally, 2 mages, lock and priest.

Although a mage is be nice for water/food, intellect buff and portals, it isn't absolutelly necessary. In your group you want a DEer, which will be able to make mana oil, that plus Blessing of Wisdom are enough (at least at where I am at now) to regenerate mana while you go around and loot, get positioned for next figh, wait for patrols and so on - then again the fact that I am slow moving may help my mana regen - lol

    thanks for the input, i appreciate your time :}

i think i will go with the pally/ priest combo. your points about the AoE are very important.

also, if i separate the group having 2 kinds of healers end-game would be nice.

hell i could also re-spec the priest shadow at times for lock support (swap out one lock for an S-priest) for PvP experiments.

so i'm thinking, get 2 new accounts. level pally/priest/mage to meet up with the locks, and then experiment a bit to see how i like the 3 locks vs. 2 locks and a Mage combo. then from there, straight to 70!
