Default Another monitor might help fps?

Hi I'm using keyclone with 1 pc and 5 accounts. I understand even with a quad core, 4 gig ram and 2 9800gtx graphics card there would still be some fps issues with 1 monitor.

If I have my main only on the main screen and slaves (4) on 2nd monitor would this help a great deal with fps?

Also how would I enable this in windows options? do I just plug monitor cable to back of the same video card or do I plug it into the other video card? cheers

also did a search for max fps command but cant find anytghing, I'm just running my main wow with no keyclone ect but its at 25 fps :O

/console max fps ?? i did that it didnt work

an extra monitor isnt gonna help yer fps might actually reduce it a lil

What might help is actually removing one of the graphics cards.

    its maxfps one word

you shouldnt have any fps problems unless yeh trying to run vista?
Default install of vista will suck the life outta the fasted comp around :P

Unless you have two monitors in horizontal span, your FPS on the other monitor will be horrid.

For XP, 2 Monitors in "Horizontal Span" gives the best performance. Also using a single GPU as opposed to two seems to make a hell of a diffrence as well.

SLI works ok with some games and not ok with others. WoW is one of the ones that it doesn't work ok with. Having said that, many people seem to have decent results with 1 monitor and 1 graphics card, and from the soud of your setup yours should be fine.

If you can run horizontal span, you can get approximately equal performance across two monitors. If now (dual view), you'll take a performance hit.

I'm surprised you're having problems with that kind of rig. Did you disable vsync in all wows? and turn the multisampling to 1x??
No matter where you go, there you are.

    yes.

It might be the way I have set up maximizer but I'm not sure.

    4 slaves set as 15-20
    Main at 20-75
lowered main to 60 even, still it runs fine, its just every 7 seconds or so there is a screen rip
