Grab a quad core CPU, it makes a lot more sense to proof up for the future ;-)

4GB RAM and an 8800GT is what we generally recommend for 5 boxing on a single machine.

Setup your main so his instance is on cores 0 and 2, then setup the alts so they are on cores 1 and 3.
