    Default At 55-60, Outlands?

Anyone try to take their 55 with them to Ramparts, etc? Got a 70 tank, so making it through those instances shouldn't be a problem. Wondering if the xp is worth the trip though.

I would complete all boxer-friendly quests (aka no pickup quests) in Azeroth first. With the xp-boost for all old quests its actually faster to level in Azeroth compared with outlands. When you hit 58, you can start picking up quests in Hellfire, but if you have no rested be prepared that you will run out of quests eventually if you do this.

the plaguelands are nice places to level/quest till 60, easy mobs, not many other players (cause everyone goes to hellfire with 58) and the quests in the EPL are easy and brings good and needed XP.

Avoid most of winterspring. There are some nice and quick quests there, but its also a lot of annyoing quests where you are to kill mobs that nearly does not exist.

In silithus you get a few quests at 55, but most you get at 58. Skip the field duty quests, it doesnt give any xp. However there are other good xp-inbringing quests there.

You should also probably sweep through BRD, lots of quests there that gives good xp.

I went to outlands at 58 on the nose, but my 4 box team had already done Winterspring, BRD and Plaguelands between 50 and 58... The gear upgrades are phenomenal, much like going from not even close to ready for MC to MC/Early BWL equivalent gear.

The OP seemed to be primarily interested in tanking with a 70 in Ramparts and dragging the noobs along, I'd say the XP would be great even without rested and the gear would help a lot. Any disenchants would be great money especially right now with everyone enchanting their Season 3 gear.

you can hit ramparts @ 55 its posted on wowiki the level requirements for each dungeon.

you would have to get a lock summon though since you cant use the meeting stone/ darkportal till 58

Right now, my "kids" are 51-54. I take them to Strat, round up mobs, aoe, etc. You are right Zanthor, that's my plan I'll quest outside if I have to, but I usually avoid it because my server(Blackrock) is so damn crowded.

At 55, most of the mobs out there will be 58/59, which is +3. Very easy to grind/quest on with a multibox group. Biggest problem at 55 is that you won't be able to GET a lot of the quest chains until you hit 58/59.

I always power lvl my alts at 55 in Ramp/BF and it works out great, now that im doing a 5box from scratch I plan on hitting up hellfire soon as I hit 58 for $$$ gear upgrades, and if I run out of quests ill farm ramp/bf for gear.

Rather than make a new thread, for basically the same question (I searched yay me!) I will resurrect this thread from the dead.

I plan on doing the same thing, going into Ramparts with my 70 tankadin. I have 3 locks, so that means a lot more runs if I want the gear drops there (based on my experience running SM repeatedly to get them all Doan's stuff) so I want to go as early as I can.

My question is, should I bother with gear at this time? I could buy some greens at the AH, or run a few times through stratholme/scholo and hope for some good drops. Or will the lowbies be able to do well enough in their SM gear? (they were boosted by zolo since 35 and haven't upgraded anything since) I know gear is replaceable, and quest rewards and boss drops are awesome in outland, but if I keep wiping in ramparts, it's not gonna be worth it.
