    Default Talk me into Keyclone...

    Hi,

I've been 2 boxing manually for a while now but on and off. I have 2 accounts with multiple 70s and i was thinking of using two chars, 70 resto druid(t6 resto gear) and a 70 warlock(junk pvp blues) for dailies, a few bgs(arena?) and maybe leveling in xpac. So before I purchase Keyclone I was wondering if there is an optimal way to play both of these classes in synergy. I was thinking maybe lead with the druid and keyclone warlock abilities with the lock on autofollow.

Has anyone thought much about this combo? Any advice atm would be good because atm I am just thoery crafting.

    thank youz

    Welcome to the forums !!!

I dont know anything about synergy . But i can tell you Key Clone Rocks !!!! it is well worth the small amount of money you pay for it, plus the support you get is awesome. I felt I got my monies worth out of the very 1st night I played around with it.

Pet tank with a VW, warlock DoT's and the resto heals.

Aggro generation is more important than anything on your "tank".

Thanks for the welcome Marathon. Yea I'm very interested in KC. A friend bought it along with a few more brand new accounts. He's 5 boxing and having fun learning it, but I think ill stick with 2 box for now =)

Sard. I figured that would be the way to do it but do you have experience with using VW over felguard? Also I was looking for anything along the lines of speccs and maybe any macros for pvp. Thanks for the reply.

2 boxing is fun but 3 and 4 and 5 boxing is alot more fun. Think about it

Are you talking about convincing you to multibox with your group combination, or are you asking us to convince you to use the program Keyclone?

I've noticed a few times there's been some confusion when "Keyclone" starts being used as a term for "Multiboxing". Keyclone is actually a software product that many multiboxers on this forum use TO multibox. Multiboxing or dual-boxing or 2,3,4,5,etc-boxing are terms used for the actual act of playing multiple characters at once.

Just to clear up any confusion. Your subject title says "Keyclone" but the content has nothing to do with the software. So I'm just checking.

    Thanks for the reply Vyndree

Yea, Maybe I wasn't too clear. I 2-box now, without KC. I wanted to know some things I could do using Keyclone to make playing those chars 'better' as opposed to boring Pet 'Tank', Warlock 'Dps', Druid 'heal when needed' cause I can do that fine w/o KC. But if I were to say specc the druid a certain way like more balance or feral specc, I could keyclone different abilities and do some amazing things. Wow really hard to explain. inch:

Basically the purpose of this thread was to find a way where using KC will make 2-boxing a boring petclass/healer combo more instesting.

Boxing with KC is nearly the same as boxing with any other software/hardware. Each piece of software/hardware we use just emulates the same thing: a keyboard multiplexer.

Now, that's not to say that keyclone doesn't have some spiffy features -- I mean, I'd love to have a PiP swap for my hardware boxing setup. But as for it impacting the way the game is played? Not really going to do that.

WoW is WoW. No programs should be able to change that general experience. 2-boxing will be 2-boxing whether you play using hardware, software, or any other hybrid hardware/software set up.
