Thread: XKeys Layout?

  1. #1

    Default XKeys Layout?

I have seen some great shots of what the keys look like, BUT I am looking for suggestions on how to lay out my keys, I have ideas but maybe seeing others would help me.

If you re-read your post from our perspective, you'll see that you're missing quite alot of pretty basic information that we'd need to even begin a meaningful response

I was not asking how to lay mine out, I ask how others have theirs laid out. I was wanting to know about how they layout the keys themselves, did you all singles or do use use doubles? Do you bind movement keys or just attacks? what other things are mapped? Do you bind 1 to = and clt+1 to clt = plus the Alt ones also or?
What I am boxing really does not matter, I am just looking for info on how others set theirs up, so I can get ideas for my own.

Which XKeys model do you have? I'm guessing the pro since you mentioned double keys.

Personally, I use it just to off-load my healing, whereas others use it to offload pretty much all of their keyboard functions. It's really helpful to have an idea of what you want to do with it, because that may limit how many double keys you can use apart from anything else.

I started with a whole LOAD of double keys and even a couple of quad keys, but soon ran out of space. I don't bind keystrokes to mine either - I use full text macros, but that would only work properly if you're not broadcasting to all machines (my XKeys is connected to a drone machine that doesn't transmit).

Anyway, this is what mine looks like today (complete with ghetto icons, printed on my laser printer and raggedly cut by my own fair hand ) As I said, it's a pure healer (priest healer, specifically) setup.
