Default noob just start multiboxing, really need help.

hi, i just started multiboxing today, i use autohotkey, im boxing 3 priest with only 1 machine, i dont know if i understand it in the wrong way, but isnt the software creates "keyboard emulator" for all programs that i chosed?
i mean when i press m, they all open the map, but each time i pressed w, shouldnt they all running? but they dont.. the main is, but not the clones(i use default key for now)
i do use the big button, the clones are "following", but yesterday, i was using my main doing arena, i saw 5 shamans move in a line, and 4 of them dont look like "following" they look like controlled.. sorry if this sounds really noobish, ive search the stickies for the movement script, but i cant find those synchronized movement.. or is it just me using the wrong software? can anyone help ? maybe some script examples ?
even so maybe its better if they're not moving together, but if i may ask, i have an issues with clones "facing the wrong way" whenever they follow my main, any particular thing should i macro to make it somehow "look where the main is looking"?
    Thank you very much

    Default Follow = Good

You're going to get the best results using follow, rather than straight movement keys for getting your alts to go with you.
    Hunter/D. Priest 60.........70.........80
    ProtPally + Holy 60.........70.........80
    Boomkin + Shamen 60.........70.........80

Indeed, i agree with the follow=good.

If you want to individually move each clone into a moving formation, it will most likely cause you more of a headache than you want, sending each clone in a different direction. It will be a real pain im sure.

if you dont have "W" as a key thats passed to all windows, your slaves are not going to move. However, passing "QWEASD" to your slaves can lead to some very messed up positions.

I think short distances are fine if you want non-precise control of your toons. Just setup a second set of movement keys to pass to all the toons (I use QWEASD for main char movement, which isnt passed to slaves) and then I use my G15 keyboard bound with a seperate set of movement controls for when I want to pass movement keys to them. Works out ok for me, but only very short non-precise movement. I use the backward movement key a lot.

The explanation for what you saw with the 5 moving in a line is that they spread out using their "spread formation" keys and then pressed the one key they bound to move them all forward.

Most of us will setup our main WASD/etc. style movement keys for use on our mains which are NOT bound on our alts. Then we'll setup another set of movement keys so that EVERYONE uses those, like the arrow keys or keypad up/down/left/right, which gives us the ability to /follow for most situations and then switch to "group individual movement" when needed.
