All of my toons have their action bars configured with makros. If the main char is online, it will be the source for targets, otherwise the toon will target on its own, so all toons stay playable solo. I spend way to many hours to figure out a system to keep each toon playable solo, but now I find myself only solo playing them to loot quest items. It's more fun with all five anyway.
