Default Note... Multiboxing isn't against the EULA... however account sharing is :)

Heh, few monts back rolled over this site after already multiboxing a war up with healer on follow (this is back in the i could hack the crap outta whispercast to get fears / heals etc etc combine with auto shout out on my main... lol well they nurfed all of that >.< anyway with only 2 accounts and wanting to try 5box'n.... rolled a pally / priest on my two and found 3 irl friends to lvl 3 mages on....

since i was 'borrowing' the other accounts to multibox with i kept a low profile, that is untill i was 70 for a bit and got rather bored... after two nights of ganking, some horde reported me and i got a nasty gram from blizz saying they detected account sharing... reset all 5 accounts pswds with a temp pswd and a cease and desist letter...

so basicly point being if you ever want to do anything in 'public' (and even if you roll a pve team u know ya eventaully will) do it legit! lol at least blizz gave warning emails and my buds walked away with a 70 mage on each of their accounts

now i just gotta convince my wife to let me get 2-3 more accounts so i can lvl up a shammy team /drool lol after boxing 3 classes at once it should be somewhat less of a mindjob

Is it the name on the account or Card info?

I currently pay for the 2 accounts under my name and the account in my gfs name as she doesnt play anymore.

just looking for clarification. currently at 20 so restarting one of my shamans isnt a big deal just yet.

    It is the account name.

Card name doesn't matter because they won't stop people from offering to pay for people's accounts, eg parent paying for non-minor child to play, etc.

You will need to get a new account and stop using your gf's...EB is currently doing a good deal on the battlechest if you are close to one, otherwise JB should also have them for a reasonable price.

careful with the online upgrade.... It's buggy, I had to call Blizz to upgrade, twice.

PS: Trials are good for 10 days only.

Circuit city also has a decent deal on the battle chest - 30 bucks... now to just get my wife to not flinch when i wanna get three

and another question... i assume two accounts with the same last name / address / cc etc are ok.... (my second account atm is under her name she hasn't played in eh over a year though) cause i'm gonna be slightly po'd if to be kosher... i have to buy ANOTHER account... then move all the toons off of her account to it (i know for a fact i can bounce toons back and forth between the accounts so it seems stupid that i need to jump through those hoops....

hell i guess i can just play the minor card and say i'm my son using my parents accounts

Blizzard recognizes the wife and husband as seperate people no matter what your state law is about being married and communal property. The only allow one minor and parent/guardian to share accounts not spouses.

be careful in this. If you where able to do this, lucky for you. I believe that Blizzard can band the account (or both) for doing this, that or they just might not do it. On the support page for transferring toons it says that both accounts must be in your name. So i would just be careful. I had 1 toon on my wife's account (only lvl 10, but had good bags on that toon). I didn't transfer that toon because i was afraid of what Blizzard might do so i just left him there. Sold all his stuff and gave it to my other toons.
