Default USB HUB 1 mouse 2 computers

I read some where you can take many of the same mouse wireless plug them in to to 5 differnt computers set 4 aside and sync one to the other 4 cumputers and run 5 computer off one mouse. I was wondering can you buy a usb hub plug your mouse in to it and plug the other computers in the hub and run all 5 that way ??

Or will it fry soemthing inch:

That won't work as USB isn't designed that way. Which is what you use splitters or Vetra multiplexers.

I was think something cheaper. Usb hubs are basic repeaters are they not ? Is there no way to trick your computer to think its just a mouse?

I was looking a wireless mice and can't figure out what I need. wowwikki says rf laser mouse but all I look at have an out sync feature. Will that screw up connecting to 2 computers ?

USB hubs are going in the backwards direction -- one computer connected to multiple USB devices.

Not one USB device hooked up to multiple computers.

If you want a cheap version of a "multiplexer" you can get 1 wireless keyboard/mouse and 2 of the same make/brand/model wireless receiver. Hook the two receivers into the two computers, then sync them to the same keyboard/mouse's wireless signal.

I believe Fursphere did this and found it was very cheap to order a "spare" receiver (or four) directly from the manufacturer.

Yeah, it's quite a bit cheaper. The base model wireless Logitech ones are like $15 each.

I looked up the part number on my receaver for my mx600 wireless mouse I have now, $10 not in stock lol .....

I am still unclear if I can use a mouse with auto sync Or I need one with a manual sync button? Because I can't seem to find any manual sync wireless mice.
