Default Solution for "you are facing the wrong way" on alts

We all know that when multiboxing, facing the wrong way is an issue. I have my 3 dps as warlocks but I guess it could work on anyone that casts an enemy targetable channeling spell. The "trick" is simple, in that you cast a channeling spell, like a drain of some sort, and the nature of channeling spells is that they TURN TO FACE THE MOB. So if you run into mobs or enemy players running behind you, quickly cast a channeled spell, face them, then DPS away. Repeat as necessary.

I'm sure this is not new, but I thought I'd post it in case somebody new was running into this type of problem.

    I just spam

    /folow
    /assist party1
    /startattack

and they all turn and face the way my main is facing. If the slaves are distanced on purpose then i just do a quick tap of a direction key to stop them from follow.

sure its ugly but it works.

I still like the channeling method because it works for mobs that constantly move, and I don't have to re hit my /follow button. I leave follow off sometimes because i want to tank in front of the DPS.

I quickly spam follow then spread out keys, they are next to eachother for me, so it's instinct.

    I do that also..
/follow then spread out keys.. Takes awhile to get use to it.. but after a few levels it becomes natural..

Default Solution to changing your alts direction

I am always having this problem while I'm dual boxing and I finally found a solution that works with any class, every time. Get some focusing lenses (Shadow Crystal Focusing Lens) from a JC - they are cheap to make and there are 40 charges per gem. Once you have the lenses just stick them on a bar and key bind it to your preference (I use a key that my main doesn't use or to a main spell) - if your alt is auto targeting your main via focus etc. then all you have to do is hit your key for the lens and the alt will cast the lens which causes them to face the target - the other option is to set up a macro that targets your main then casts the lens - either way its up to you, and it works for any class every time - And everyone thought those things were useless

*also great for targeting rares when using NPC_scan - it will face you in the correct direction when you have no clue where the rare is - hope you all enjoy
